AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said Thursday that his union will not be at the Democratic convention, “do[es] not intend to put any money into the convention” and will be hosting its own convention — without Obama.
Speaking in Washington, D.C., Trumka said the labor group “will not be doing extravagant events” at this year’s convention like “we’ve done in the past.”
Instead of giving money to the Obama campaign and Democrats they are focusing on their own event that rivals the Democratic convention. The event, called “Workers Stand for America” will be held on August 11 in Philadelphia.
“We will be having a bigger on the ground effort than we have ever had in the past” said Trumka. “This time around, unlike in past elections, we’ll be able to talk to non-union workers. So not only will we be educating, mobilizing, and getting out the vote of unions … we’ll also be talking to non-union workers”

Trumpka is a self-avowed communist. So is Leo Gerard, the Canadian who is President of the International Steelworkers Union.
The International Longshore and Warehouse Union is also headed up by communists, as was demonstrated two weeks ago at the criminal trial of one of the ILWU Local’s Presidents, Robert McEllsrath, in Longveiw, WA.
Supporters from across the nation showed up at the Cowlitz County Hall of Justice, and displayed banners and placards with communist slogans and by-words prominent among the sentiments. Younger folks weren’t aware of the phrases or their meanings, but having been in the military during the Cold War, I recognized the terms.

“Big Labor” equals the Communist Party. The commies are having their own convention this year and they will understand the absence of party members who attend the DNC’s Socialist party convention. George Soros, Bill Gates, and the Google and Facebook executives will split their time and money between the two conventions of chaos and evil.

This is the same TRUMPKA that said, “THE PUBLIC IS BEING DELUDED BY CONSERVATIVES’ USE OF THE WORD “FREEDOM”. Let’s see, what does TRUMPKA think freedom means? Does he mean that FREEDOM only means that the masses are free to join the UNION? And if they choose not to join, he will take that freedon away? Why has the lamestream media asked TRUMPKA to explain himself, when he made that statement. I dunno, maybe the lamestream media thinks the same way as Trumpka?
