The Republican side of the Senate Budget Committee will later today release the following chart, detailing the rising projected cost of President Obama's signature legislation, Obamacare: The latest estimate, as the chart details, is that Obamacare will cost $2.6 trillion dollars in its first real decade. The bill does not fully go into effect until 2014, therefore the estimate begins with that year. "President Obama promised a joint session of Congress in 2009 to spend $900 billion over ten years on his health care law: 'Now, add it all up, and the plan that Im proposing will

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
So much for the “non-partisan” CBO’s outrageous lie before ObamaTax was passed that the cost would be $900 Billion. That rotten agency ought to be fired for never getting their estimates even close to what programs actually wind up costing. They don’t deserve their inflated salaries.
B..B..But, thats MORE than they said!!!!
Democrats had the CBO score Garbage in Garbage out numbers
This is what critics pointed out before the bill was passed: it was a $2.6T plan stuffed into a $1T wrapper. Everyone who was honest knew that the fully loaded cost—accounting for 10 years of spending rather than just 6—was much higher than the president mendaciously advertised. Paul Ryan brought this to Obama’s attention before the bill was passed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZ63lteml28 but his pleas were completely ignored.
I bet a Lib the other day that withing 10 years it would cost over a trillion a year. Look up and see what the initial estimates for SSI. medicare, the prescription drug plans, etc were when they were started. Might be lucky if it doesn’t cost 2-3 trillion a year within 15-20 years, cause .gov always expands and advertises for freebies.
Says that the vote in the House today could have very important implications for funding the federal health care exchanges (those that the states dont want to implement) The House can refuse to FUND the federal exchanges !

Reality will be more like “...in the first two years.” Further reality makes all estimates silly because of the hyperinflation that is coming.
Aw come on this isn’t a problem. Barry says we just have provide ‘fairness’ in taxing. The rich have to pay their fair share - you know, those fatcats making more than $50K/year. Or was it $35K?
Go to Canada and buy just about anything.
You will pay roughly 15% above sticker price in sales taxes to fund their healthcare system.
THAT is the sort of tax burden you are going to have to carry if you want national health care.
Bookmark for later.
2.6 Trillion in comparison to 900 billion?
That’s an awful lot of lear jets that will have to be taxed.
And the price of obamacare does not include the priceless cost of human life and dignity that will be spent in elitist controlled, dictated health care. ‘Progressives’, aka regressives, have appointed themselves the power over life and death and they are we know they are pro death.
The cost of putting these freaks of nature in charge of our bodies can not be caculated. There is not enough money in the world to buy even one government mandated murder through the denial or incompetence of non-care. They have put the equivalent of public school teachers and administrators in charge of health care.
Everyone knew it was a sham...it was part of the bribery to buy a vote or several.
No hue and cry over the out and out criminal corruption by that ever watchful press corpse, either....and the reputation of the cbo is just gone...hope they were paid well for their complicity in the lies that were told.
When is this broad going to be brought up from IMPEACHMENT, PERJURY, FRAUD, OBSTRUCTION, ETC..??
A national VAT...a Democrat's wet dream.
But it’s $2.6 billion in government money. It’s not like it’s coming out of your pocket...
yes...for sure....lets keep this guy in office..../sarcasm/
