On May 1, 2006, millions of illegal aliens and their supporters took to the streets in cities across the nation for the so-called "A Day Without Immigrants" protests.

On that day, many illegal aliens chose to 'boycott' their jobs (which they held illegally) so that those businesses would have to shut their doors.
However, the financial impact was minimal at best and the massive number of protesters only served to demonstrate just how truly laughable our border security had become.
Now, one citizen-advocacy group has taken their idea and put a new twist on it...
The Tea Party Immigration Coalition (TPIC) has announced that July 15 will be their first annual "A Day Without Illegal Aliens."

The TPIC is urging Americans to visit their Facebook page and post their stories.
Some ideas include:
-job loss -violent crime -increased healthcare costs -reduced property values -stolen identity -injured by drunk driving or unlicensed illegal aliens -impact on public schools -bankrupt cities and towns
In the past, the TPIC has sponsored the widely observed National Remembrance Day for Those Killed by Illegal Aliens.

your basic premise is wrong. that without illegal;s, that businesses would have to close. not true. those businesses would then have to comply with the law, and hire people for minimum wage, at least.
besides, isn’t having illegals around for back-door cheap labor for evil companies just a tad racist? like illagel labor is all that these folks are good for?
The cowards need to make it a month or year without illegal aliens and teach us a real lesson but for some reason they won’t.
I think we should try a whole year.
Business would be forced to live by the free market principles they claim to desire. Yo know, crazy stuff like supply and demand.
Expel every single criminal alien tomorrow and:
1) the nation’s prison population drops by one third
2) the waiting time in a hospital ER drops to 10 minutes
3) the government’s “social services” bill is cut in half
4) auto insurance rates drop by one third
5) gang violence,nationwide,drops by half
6) black unemployment drops to 4%
7) etc,etc,etc
Won’t affect me. I have demanded from contractors who do work on any of my properties the I-9’s of the people they bring on. Also proof of workman’s compensation coverage, and liability coverage.
In the 6 years since I started this program I’ve had three contractors tell me they’d changed their minds about doing the work for me.
That’s OK with me. Just doing my part.
Illegal aliens have an inflated view of their importance and of themselves in general due to all the pandering they get from the MSM and DemonRat Party.
Mainly, without illegal aliens, I would smile. Arrest them, seize their assets and deport them all. If America could get to the moon, syurely America can deport these wandering losers.
Driving would be a lot safer.

A day without Illegal Aliens?
Crime would plunge. It would be significantly safer to drive. Hospital ERs would be accessible. Government expenditures on various freebies would drop enormously.
And, with a little luck, we could hire teenagers and unemployed adults in the positions they fill.
so lemme see. without illegal immigrants...
how many accidents would not happen? How may people woudl stil be alive?
how many fewer drunk drivers on our roads?
how many rapes would not happen?
how many robberies would not occur?
how much would not have to be spent on emergency hospital care? how much of that would be taxes?
etc...
Well for one thing I would not have to worry about a drunk illegal hitting me on the highway and then fleeing back to mexico. That’s one. I also wouldn’t have to stand at the checkout line and watch them pay with their state issued EBT card.
That way my Sisters annoying, Freeloading, and Illegal In-Laws would STAY THE HELL AWAY for a day, instead of follow her over to my house to take their damn kids swimming with ours.
