Crawford v. Marion County Election Board (Voter ID Ruling)

The issue of Voter ID laws has already been upheld in the Indiana Case.

In the 2008 case Crawford v. Marion County Election Board, the court upheld an Indiana voter ID law, which the National Conference of State Legislatures classifies as one of the strictest in the nation. The law requires voters to present a photo ID at polling places. Those who can’t may cast a provisional ballot, which will only be counted if the voter affirms the ballot in person – with a photo ID – within 10 days.

Specifically the Claims: Voter ID laws are excessively and prohibitively burdensome; and, Voter ID laws are unnecessary due to the relatively low incidence of voter fraud, were addressed and soundly rejected in this decision.

Also included in this decision were pretty much every argument the fiberals and DOJ are making now to try to stop voter ID. This case needs to be shoved in their faces.

Anybody paying attention should know if their state requires ID for voting. It's not as though you're only given a week to get some kind of ID - there are at least two years between major elections during which anyone who really cares should be able to get an ID. My wife did this (got her birth certificate) for her developmentally disabled and retarded sister so she can vote in Ohio.

The “Marion County” I live in allows people to register ONLINE, oh, and then, the state doesn’t much check to see if they are really eligible.....SOROS elected Secretary of State and all....the whole state has MAIL-IN balloting.

I did a little checking and found that 33 states have voter ID laws. Some more strict than others, but fair to say more than half the states require some sort of picture ID to vote in person. Now, if we are to believe the liberal/socialist/leftist/Democrates and their layers, there should be a case file of several hundred thousand people who were ‘disenfranchised’ while trying to vote. Where are these people? I haven't heard of even one! And to hear Debbie Blabber-mouth Shitzu talk about it, it's an epidemic. Yet she represent a district in a state that has one of the strictest voter ID laws on the books. She should be able to parade a whole cast of characters in front of the cameras. Where are these people???!?
