Romney went as far as he could without personally offending Roberts, whose good graces he may need for eight years. Romney had previously said that he agreed with the dissent. He also gave no credence to the spurious observations about Roberts limiting the Commerce Clause which some might have expected from him. Finally, he avoided the puerile "it's a tax" demagoguery.

Romney responded well to this decision. I am pleasantly surprised.

Pffft. The Won called him and his court assholes on national TV with the guy forced to sit there and listen. If it was my court the guy would have never won another case. Obviously Roberts either doesn't care or can be bought. Romney can just do whatever Obama did to get this vote.
