Someone today (Chris Plante? Rush Limbaugh?) was saying how the ‘scare tactic’ in the 70’s or so was the Ice Floe that was going to overtake us. Apparently we survived that now we are trying to evade the melting ice bergs being caused by ‘global warming’.

I love the way they changed their tack and started claiming that the extreme cold is a result of global warming as is extreme heat.

Next thing you know someone will claim a tax is a penalty and the SCOTUS will claim the penalty is actually a tax, which makes the bill legal, then the presenters of the bill will say no, it is a penalty until you ‘kick it out’ then we will call it a tax.. Preferably AFTER Nov

Summer usually is.

Horrendous wildfires. Oppressive heat waves. Devastating droughts. Flooding from giant deluges. And a powerful freak wind storm called a derecho.

These reporters must be young, too young to remember that we had all of these things going on back in the 1950s and '60s when I was growing up, except we called "derecho" strong winds. Don't where that word came from.

Still cooler here where I live than last year at this time, and the year before as a matter of fact.
