“Supreme court justices can be impeached.”

Good Luck With THAT!

Has a Justice ever been impeached?
The only Justice to be impeached was Associate Justice Samuel Chase in 1805. The House of Representatives passed Articles of Impeachment against him; however, he was acquitted by the Senate.

Yes, Slings, they can be impeached, it’s happened once.

REMOVED, however, is another story; that’s never happened.

Samuel P. Chase - The Senate voted to acquit Chase of all charges on March 1, 1805. He is the only U.S. Supreme Court justice to have been impeached.
