LOL! I needed that after this weeks SC debacle.
For me it means that once the pre-existing condition part goes into effect I will stop my health insurance.
I’ll happily pay the paultry penalty to save hundreds every month. I’ll just get insurance on my way to the hospital if anything bad happens.
This was the rule in Washington state for a while back in the late 90’s. I worked at Blue Cross at the time. It was a joke. Couples would get pregnant, buy our health insurance to cover them through the pregnancy, and then cancel it after the baby was born.
It was not workable in the long run and cost us a fortune. Fortunately it was only temporary.
Oh, and a LOT of health insurance companies left the state.

This is not about insurance never has been.
They have just announced to the working class ,those that get paychecks or have small businesses that they are now economic slaves of the government and their rich elite sponsors.
That is exactly what they have just done.
The government now has the right to tell you how you are to spend your money and if you do not spend it on what they want you to, when they want you to, regardless of your situation then they will not tax, not mandate, but fine you for breaking the law and do so without you having your day in court or a jury trial.
This was another test case to push the envelope of the dictatorial power the socialists have been pushing for years.
The rich and powerful people and businesses [or most of them]love Socialists and one man governments.
They are much cheaper and easier to bribe and control and they think their wealth will always protect them and usually the ultra rich they do.
If they get away with this ,and it looks like they will, wait till you see who they they bleed with this so called flat tax. Hint it will be the same e working stiff since time began.
They (both parties) are cut from the same mold and have shown us time and time again that they have no intention of reducing the size or intake of these kingdoms they have, or controlling their insatiable greedy spending and the country in financial trouble needs money.
The politicians we vote on in either of our two major dynasties no longer make decisions independent of the parties and that includes these judges .
The Party controls the candidates and both parties are controlled by the same rich and powerful, people bankers, corporations.

You won't believe this but since my retirement I have been able to spend a great deal of my time in prayer and Bible sstudy and was in the book of Revelation when I seen your post.
In the time of the end the anti- christ heads up a confrderacy of European and western nations that most likely includes this one in some form or another.
Certainly it will be but a shadow of its former self as we will be just another spoke in the big wheel as it is under judgment and in rapid decline and headed for an economic disaster that always follows the moral collapse of a nation.

The system of government the Anti- christ heads up is one based on world trade and is the commerical Babylon spoken of in Revelation and I believe, is the one for which the ground work is well on its way to being laid.
The other Babylon is the Apostate one world Church made up of many different types and denominations, that are left behind after the true church has been raptured.
Any way as you probably know if you study chapter 18 and other books of the bible you will see that this dominant commercial power called Babylon is the system headed by this monster which is based on world trade and gets its power from an unholy alliance made up of the rich and powerful elite, the powerful giant corporations, the political parties and the lawyers/lobbyists that provide the front men.
THen we have the Congressmen,judges and executive branch con men that prostitute themselves for careers that let them hold the purse and divide the yearly take from the people between the Party, their rich sponsers and their own pockets.
For those that are younger than I who want to see what is coming their way read chapter 18 in Rev and if you really want to know more read ,Isaiah 13,14,Jeremiah 50,51 and Rev.17,18 will give you a look at the future of the base city, the coming world government, its leader and what happens then and what is happening now.

I don’t know if you know this, but I lived in Seattle for 45 years, which was my entire adult life. I’m 58 now. Two weeks before the 2008 election I bought a small farm with a new house on it and actually moved there (here) in August of 2011.
My tag line here, for that entire time was that I am here in the spirit of Revelation 18:4.
I agree with pretty much everything you posted there. I believe we are wrong about a few things because I don’t believe prophesy is there to give a detailed future image, but more as a warning and peppered with enough info to prove itself just before or after an event happens. And, of course we are clearly told to watch for the signs.
Which is why you and I mostly agree.

I will NOT be staying at home. I have a good congressmen to get reelected and a bad Senator to vote out. I will NOT feel “superior” if Obama gets elected...I don’t want him in office. However, I don’t want Romney either. I will greive regardless of which wins. Either way, America loses.
Also, to NOT vote for Romney is NOT the same as voting for Obama. That is a lie and needs to stop being said on this forum. Many principled conservatives refuse to back Romney. Having “principles” that you will not violate in voting for Romney does NOT make you a de facto Obama supporter (even in a passive sense). The founder of this forum has repeatedly stated he WILL NOT vote for Romney....are you saying he is an Obama supporter???
