I’ve been going Galt for a while now. Reducing the spending side is pretty easy. Reducing the income side *voluntarily* is harder. I was greatly inspired today by the SCOTUS to redouble my efforts to do just that.

Romney repealing this would be admitting he made a mistake in Mass. which he is not going to do. Yeah, but Romney is one of the goobers who helped to get this whole ball rolling in the first place. Remember, MassCare as a model for ObamaCare, and all that?
Nevertheless, it looks like we’ve no choice now. Hopefully Romney will make good on his promise to sign a bill repealing it, and then hopefully a Republican Congress will never get around to replacing it.

RomneyCare was a STATE program, and if he was running for Governor of my state, it might matter. But saying that this should remain a STATE issue, and therefore that the FEDERAL ACA is a bad idea, is perfectly consistent. And if he acts on that, than the national program of ObamaCare will die.

Well, there is zero chance of them showing that unless they win election. And here's the thing. It is 100% certain that Obama will make no effort to repeal Obamacare. If anything, he'll likely expand it will more subsidies, etc.. The only possibility to repeal Obamacare lies with electing Romney, because by 2016, we'll be too far into it to repeal.
So it's either roll the dice with Romney, or be certain you're going to lose with Obama. The

There’s only one issue ~ we need a winner and Romney isn’t it. You people must work harder at this ~ if you know how.
There is simply no replacing the decision. The decision gives the government the right to mandate commerce and tax it if you don’t. “Eat this food or else be taxed.” “Excercise under a government mandated program or else be taxed.”
Repeal it quickly, then you can spend lots and lots and lots and lots of time trying to replace it.
It is up to congress to stop appropriating more funds to feed the federal monster across the board. No money, and big chunks of the cancer come to a halt.

This is where it becomes important to elect members of Congress who will commit to repeal Obamacare and commit NOT to replace it with another big government solution.

For me it means that once the pre-existing condition part goes into effect I will stop my health insurance.
I’ll happily pay the paultry penalty to save hundreds every month. I’ll just get insurance on my way to the hospital if anything bad happens.
This was the rule in Washington state for a while back in the late 90’s. I worked at Blue Cross at the time. It was a joke. Couples would get pregnant, buy our health insurance to cover them through the pregnancy, and then cancel it after the baby was born.
It was not workable in the long run and cost us a fortune. Fortunately it was only temporary.
Oh, and a LOT of health insurance companies left the state.
