I actually agree with reducing crack penalties where they should never have counted as 100 times that of powdered cocaine on the 1987 Federal Sentencing Guidelines

I've been looking for an etymology and definition of the word "choom", as in Choom Gang. It appears to mean a) a testicle or b) an Englishman (var. of "chum"). Given Obama's history, either definition could be meaningful, unless there's yet another meaning that was used by Obama and his friends.
