“In fact, I’m not entirely convinced that the man wouldn’t do worse than Obama”
Romney was my last choice (other than Paul) but I am convinced there is no one on the political landscape in either party who could be as successfully, deliberately destructive as Obama.
The problem with Romney in office is that the mess of Obama will not be cleaned up but made status quo, and have 'precedent', all that other fun stuff. Also, I'm not trustful of the Republicans, there are some who seem decent enough... but we should remember things like Patriot Act, TARP, NDAA and how they have NEVER (at least in my political lifetime) as a party made strides toward smaller and more responsible government (indeed the same could be said of many of the party planks, like overturning Roe v. Wade).
