**Roberts is a closet Statist.**

Why do you say that. Roberts is a Catholic, and I don’t think a Catholic would be a statist.

Why do you say that. Roberts is a Catholic, and I don’t think a Catholic would be a statist in line with Jefferson.

” - - - You would seem to have been reading my old posts. We are in pretty full agreement. I am less optimistic about being able to change it, I think.”

Lots of food for thought in your quote.

No, but I will look up some of your old posts, in due time.

Great minds think alike, and all that.

Optimism, change, etc.: well, just look at your skills and then look at a Federal Politician’s skills.

Right! They are Federal Politicians because without The District of Corruption, they would be absolutely useless to Society.

Hmmmmmm - - - must be the late hour as that last statement seems redundant.

I’ll work on it tomorrow, “because tomorrow is another day.”

BTW, stay optimistic because I’ve heard that the first 100 years are the toughest.

Insurance by the Federal Government should, and must be ABOLISHED FOREVER.

Either the Federal Politicians will do it or the Financial Markets will. The USA is broke.

I doubt that the same supreme court that placed citizens below illegal immigrants, and gave the EPA enormous powers over the people will suddenly choose to do the right thing regarding Obamacare.

If we are doomed either way then it is logical to seek the path by which we can most successfully recover and/or exploit to actually pull a victory from the jaws of defeat.

I’m not actually a “supporter” of mitt, but I see how I could uses his victory just as I can see how I could anther Obama victory.

To that end I don’t much care who wins. As a party Mitt is constrained to support state’s rights given his position on Romneycare and his need to distinguish himself from Obama.

On the other hand an Obama victory will infuriate the right and drive us deeper into revolutary fervor. Perhaps enough to take even strong state level nullification action.

Insolently either way we can go down the nullification path. So long as our people understand that it is essential for our long term victory that we change the nature of the game to move the battle to the States where interstate competition for individuals & their industry. Might force the government to downsize and become leaner by means of competitive forces.

The political viability of the doctrine of nullification & light doctrines is itself a vital tool toward pushing Washington out of the domestic sphere where it has practical effect. Insolently Arizona’s state level push to address the immigration issue has helped emencly in putting our states back on the radar map.

As I said in the end it doesn’t matter because in part we are going to do this either way. The real difference is how we manipulate Washington, and control our own side.

To be honest im not entirely sure how much you can tell about a man in judging the faith he generally follows. But when it comes to the catholic faith you would find those who follow it tend more heavily towards statism than say many denominations of the prodigality faith.

I’m not yet sure but i suppose it might have something to do with the way the Catholic church is so centeralized as an institution and in true in bed with a number of leftest causes when it comes to government.

Still for Roberts to uphold the abomination would be for him to betray not only the Federal Constitution, American people & states, but also in this instance the catholic faith owing to the unacceptably repressive things the Federal Government is forcing catholic to do under that act. Technically this is not so much a betrayal of catholic’s per-say but rather religious liberty & concous.

Needless to say I don’t think Roberts is the best robe on the Federal “cort”, nor the best judge Bush appointed. The best judge on the court is in my mind Justice Thomas owing to his faithful adherence to originalsim over the years.

>Kagan and Sotomayer do NOT work for Obama.<

But they are of similar mind. I will be delighted if the decision is unanimous, but I expect the hard leftists on the court to vote for their utopian wet dream.
