Hazing? What is described as “hazing” is commonplace on the boats. Usually, boat sailors are psychologically screened to avoid this kind of stuff. In other words, if you can’t take the heat then get out of the kitchen.
I spent just one week on an attack sub and was glad to get off. Except for the CO the crew were the most boring people I have ever been around.
And THIS is why the old policies were far better. The military will not have constant distractions and new PC culture based on real and manufactured situations like this.
We’ll lose good men and our forces will be weaker because of it.
It is only a matter of time before we have the homosexual version of “Tailhook” to further neuter our military.
Of course, the right time for such a “scandal” will be when a Republican is in the White House.

I did eight 70-90 day deterrent patrols on USS Francis Scott Key(SSBN-657). I liked the boat and the crew.
And these are supposed to be our “warriors”? Yeah, right. What’s gonna happen when they confront a real enemy of the US? Are they gonna cry, roll into a tight ball and wait for an authoritative figure to come stop the fight/shooting?
