to disregard ANY part of the Constitution is to disregard it in entirety, as there is no severability clause

if the Constitution is no longer in effect...

and all US laws are based on the Constitution...

then those laws are also... no longer in effect.

at which point, how can a person be arrested / tried for a law that is no longer valid?

The first to disregard ANY part of the Constitution under this administration was when Obama refused to prove his eligibility. I think he did it for one of two reasons.

1) He's not eligible and wants to hide that fact.

OR

2) He's failing to provide the proof of eligibility to show the American people that the Constitution does not matter. His way of nullifying it.

At the beginning of his term I thought maybe it was reason number two. I figured he must be snubbing the Constitution because that's how liberals feel about it. That it's dead.

After seeing all that this man has done and not done. I cannot name one thing he has done FOR this nation or FOR the people of the United States... I now suspect his reasons for not providing proof of eligibility is also because he is not eligible and I have serious doubts about his citizenship. In other words, he is not one of us.

He saw he could get away with it and he's continued to push the envelope with no resistance from the other branches of government.

John Boehner is the second biggest elephant in the room but is quickly going to overtake Obama in size. John Boehner needs to be held responsible. He also took an oath.

It’s up to the Speaker of the House, John Boehner, to lead the fight.

Oh great.

John Boehner is getting a free ride.

For quite some time now everybody seems to think it’s Romney that’s responsible to keep Obama straight. Well, Romney is just a candidate at this point. John Boehner is an elected official who has taken an oath. His failures are many. Fifty years ago Obama, Boehner, Pelosi and Harry Reid would be sent to prison for what they are doing or failing to do right now.

He may cry easily but he’s an adult, he took an oath and he has a job we pay him to do. He is as accountable as Obama at this point.

Woodrow “KKK” Wilson and the year 1913 marked the end of our constitutional republic. We’ve been living under a fascist state since.

In case you haven't noticed the FOX is all in for Rubio as VP.

I couldn't believe my ears when I heard Hannity say (during the Fox TV segment with Rubio last night) that he is having a 1 hour special on Friday with Rubio and a studio audience!

Actually the Constitutional Republic ended with the Civil War.

Didn’t Jimmy Carter, through Executive Order, pardon all Vietnam deserters?

************

True indeed....

But the Constitution (ART2 Sec2) clearly gives the President power for executive clemency.

Unlike this present dictatorial danger...
