If we had real leaders nowadays, people like Waters would be in federal prison awaiting a capital sentence per Article 3 section 3 of the Constitution.

I don’t know, we are on the east coast here, but me, hubby and our friend all had him as about 20 years older than he was.

Maybe we just saw him on some news footage, looking all beat up, or whatever, and just got less details in the coverage of the story, but we were really surprised to learn how young he was. Now and then, if you know what I mean.

Esp. now I guess. I hear stuff that he turned his life around, then I hear not really. But still too young to die.

The SOB was sky high on “Angel Dust” leading police on a high-speed chase for over an hour, narrowly missing pedestrians and other vehicles.

About 10 years later (2003)...

Rodney King Crashes Suv Into A House
BY BILL HUTCHINSON DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
Wednesday, April 16, 2003

Rodney King and motor vehicles. Not perfect together.

The man whose name is synonymous with police brutality, the L.A. riots and angel dust nearly killed himself when he drove a new SUV into a house at 100 mph, cops said yesterday.

King, 39, had to be cut out of his crunched navy blue 2003 Ford Expedition on Sunday morning in the Los Angeles suburb of Rialto. He was listed in fair condition yesterday with a broken pelvis at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

Now, cops want to know once more whether he was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

If George Zimmerman isn’t drawn and quartered according to the specifications of Sharpton and Jackson; then this will play out yet again.

Maybe then, law abiding citizens will finally learn that they have no right to protect themselves and their property from hoodie-lums. Don’t even think about arming yourself or having a neighborhood watch. Just giftwrap your valuables and set them on your front porch

When I read “Rodney Kings Brother Stunned...” I thought oh hell
here we go again.

My sister was living in Burbank at the time. One of the four cops acquit-
ted of the Rodney King beatdown had previously worked with her.
Think his name was something like Briceno. My sister said she thought
as a cop he seemed like he would have no problem firing warning shots
into the crowd.

He sued for the ‘beating’ and won over 3 mil, blew it all. And his current "fiancee" was on the jury that awarded it to him.

A “Can’t we jes all git along day!”

I would guess they didn't even know each other at the time? She just 'fell in love with him' after the 3 mill settlement. Is this correct?

“I’m just stunned that as a white Christian male, I haven’t somehow been blamed for his death.....”

Don’t get too smug. Its early in the process.

But still too young to die.

Surely you jest. He deserved to die all those years ago, the night of the 'beating'.

Why did he “deserve” to die?
