A jury found baseball star Roger Clemens not guilty on six charges that he lied to Congress in 2008 about his use of performance enhancing drugs. Clemens was charged with lying to Congress about his use of performance enhancing drugs.

Good
Hasn’t been a good few weeks for Federal Prosecutors. It’s not as though Ive been rooting for them anyways.
May this be the start of an excellent week!
What a waste of time and money.
Let’s hope it just gets worse and worse and worse, from here on in.
LoL, pretty funny stuff. These guys must be seriously incompetent.
Congress wasted it’s time....AGAIN!?!?
Thank you for pissing away all that money on nothing!!!
The only thing worse than spending money on this debacle was the verdict.
Because this was Sooooooo important to the security of this country.
Pathetic exhibit of government thuggery.
GOOD!!!
I don’t care if he lied to Congress or anybody else
about what he put in his body.
This has been a trumped up charge and prosecution, to DISTRACT us from the fact that OBAMA IS STEALING OUR COUNTRY!!!!!
So, if lying to Congress is a crime, when does the trial of Eric Holder start?
Congress lies to us everyday. Why should we care if someone lies to them?
I view this as the jury saying “go get doing something useful” to the Feds. Frankly, I believe Clemons was guilty of perjury. on some counts. Not that I care. I really don’t.
Unfortunately, this probably means they are going to clean Zimmerman’s clock.
” Lets hope it just gets worse and worse and worse, from here on in. “
And let’s hope that they get some competent prosecutors/litigators installed when the time comes for mass trials of the Obama cronies....
Let Major League Baseball police its own mess. Congress has no business interfering in private affairs.
Now I wonder about all of them sportswriters that have said they will never vote for Roger to join the Hall of Fame .
I am very upset with this verdict! I mean, how am I going to sleep tonight knowing that Clemons lied to Congress about something that Congress should have NEVER EVEN BEEN INVOLVED IN and then he got away with doing to Congress, what it does to us everyday? Oh let me start counting the sheep now so that I might have some peaceful slumber!
One.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
IDIOTS!
Unlike that Brewer mvp outfielder what's-his-face. He did not ‘win’ the allegation against him, no matter what the 3 panel arbiters (bought activists) decided.
Excellent! Another overeach of the Federal Government has been smacked down and rightly so.
This should be good news for the value of my Roger Clemens rookie card.
But only someone with his wealth would afford a top-notch defense attorney.
I saw a chart the defense put up with all the flights to different cities the government sent lawyers to investigate and take depositions.
I bet the government spent 50-75 million on this case alone.
The fact that this is "news" to the news media, is a laugh when the same dudes could care less that Eric Holder is and has and continues to "lie to Congress (and thus the people of the United States of America!)
Erice Holder’s racist DOJ prosecuted Roger Clemmons to no avail. FU Eric Holder!! Clemmons lawyer bill must be half a million of so.
Good.
I don’t really care if someone lies to a bunch of stinking liars who lie everytime they open their lying mouths.
The lies were the charges.
I am so glad!
Good verdict. He didn’t lie to congress. If anything it was a fROIDian slip.
When did you first meet him? How many times have you been to his house? You talk with him on the phone today?
I never meet him so I could not say "I can't stand him". What gripes me about this is that somewhere there is someone, one person, behind this laughable prosecution. What a joke. Going after a guy that throws a little ball around.
Clemens should get every penny back that he spent on his defense and the people that prosecuted him should have to reimburse the taxpayers for this absurd folly!
Good. Lies are the currency of congress
We have had four prominent prosecutions that were going on that were at best dubious and at worse prosecutorial misconduct. Clemens, Edwards, that guy who filmed his roommate having gay sex, and Zimmerman. Clemens and Edwards are free. That guy who filmed his roommate got a minimal punishment. We’ll see about Zimmerman.
In the case of the first three, being a jerk is not illegal. In the case of Zimmerman, there’s just not enough evidence to build a case.
Our country is under siege by a clown who won’t even provide a birth certificate to a court, using every evasive maneuver he can, and our idiot Congress chases this nonsense.
Welcome to the Titanic.
Actually, baseball has a monoply exclusion and is under control of Congress. MLB would need to drop their exclusion and then they could do whatever they want
and our money. Well it's not like they had anything important to do like pass a budget.
And most of the evidence that there is points to legitimate self defense against a drugged up thug. But don't worry...if the criminals prosecuting him can't get at him they're already busy building a case against his wife.
A long, winding road to get Clemens

Some 93 federal agents interviewed 179 individuals in 68 locations and produced 235 reports of their interviews to prepare for the Roger Clemens perjury trial.
Like him or not, this was a witch hunt.....and cost us millions.
Ha ha ha! Booyaaa!
The entire Congressional “investigation” was so much horse flop, one of those distractions while they threw more turds in the punch bowl.
Do you think any one of them will be fired or demoted for incompetence?
He “misremembered” as Clemens stated. A Clintonian word wouldn’t you say?
Both Clements and Bonds were targeted by prosecutors out to make their names and due to their celebrity. It’s a denial of the spirit of equal protection. I don’t care for either player but they got jobbed.
Now can Congress get to important stuff like putting Holder on trial?
he sure must have pissed of some well-connected Mets fan.
