In an email Sunday, Caroline Kennedy says she understands the hardships of balancing fatherhood with the presidency — and said she admires the way that President Obama has managed it.
Kennedy, daughter of the late President John Kennedy, lent her name to an Obama campaign email sent out Sunday, recounting her own days growing up in the White House.
"To me, my dad was just that: a dad," Kennedy wrote. "I remember the bedtime stories -- he'd let me pick the subject (usually ponies), then make up a story on the spot."
"It wasn't until I got a lot older that I really understood what it meant that my father was the president," she wrote. "And it wasn't until I became a parent myself that I understood just how much he loved my brother and me."
"I've seen Barack Obama as a dad in the White House," Kennedy wrote. "It's just one of the things about President Obama I admire so much."

In the last few weeks, the stream of spam fom Camp O has been enormous. I get at least one a day, sometimes two.
I have to believe that his supporters, at some point, will start to delete these without even opening them.

Neil Cavuto, last Friday did the same routine about Obama being a great father!!! I love Cavuto, but.....on this one, he has been smoking funny stuff!!! Obama is not a father for the nation to follow, even though he is a good father to his children. Problem is, he wants to destroy all fathers and mothers so we can raise a society of pitchers and catchers!!! Neil, you should be ashamed of yourself. Caroline Kennedy, I understand. Poor girl is not the sharpest knife in the drawer and....the fathers in the Kennedy family are only there to be ashamed of, useless parents that they were and are!!!
