Republican Mitt Romney paused Saturday during a campaign bus stop in Pennsylvania to touch base with Christian conservatives.

Obama's health care plan "attacks freedoms" and "raising taxes attacks freedoms," Romney said. The Obama administration's decision on contraceptive coverage "attacks our first freedom - religious freedom," he said.

He credited former rival Rick Santorum with touting three "best predictors" for happiness and good finances: be married, graduate from high school and get a job.

Santorum, a return visitor to the Coalition conference, said he has "no doubt" Romney understands the "centrality of family."

The former Pennsylvania senator urged the audience to help Romney win.

Get back to me when he commits to re-instating “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”.

Right now he is on record as leaving things as they are with DADT.

Until that time, he is simply pandering to me and other conservative Christians.

Did you notice that Santorum is now actively supporting Romney?

“The former Pennsylvania senator urged the audience to help Romney win.”

It’s not propaganda — Santorum IS campaigning for Romney and is urging conservatives to vote for Romney.

Whatevuh. I’m SO SICK of being USED as a ‘special interest group’ just like the Demo-cruds do. Everything is ‘pigeon-holed’. ENOUGH, already. Be for “life....liberty....and the pursuit of happiness”.

“Did you notice that Santorum is now actively supporting Romney?”

Maybe he doesn’t want 4 more years of Obama?

He is looking to 2016 or 2024. He has to to do this. It means NOTHING.

It doesn’t mean that Romney is trustworthy.

So?

What does that have to do with Mitt Romney refusing to re-instate DADT?

What does that have to do with the documented history of serial lying by Mitt Romney?

What does that have to do with Mitt Romney's lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal record, as documented here on FreeRepublic?

I have yet to learn what it is that mittens has to offer for conservatives in his agenda. He can claim he’s better than Obama, but I have not been promised any thing on him planning to protect the constitution at all.

I have not heard how he will restore the constitution or any part of it to the people. Will he dump agenda 21 or will he keep business as usual on the UN front. Does he believe in the global warming agenda or will he defund them and cut them off. Will he limit DHS to naming only Islamists as domestic terrorists and make they stop naming Americans as terrorists. Will he appoint constitutionalists to the courts. Will he dump corporate welfare. Will he respect the tenth amendment. Will he protect human life from the ravishes of his progressive pals. Will he protect the right to self defense. Will he protect the borders and give everyone equal rights. Will he go after Democrats when they violate the constitution and break the law. What does he think of nanny Bloomberg.

He’s go a leftist track record in mass. and says he only did that to make those communists happy. Well...that is all I know about him.

Any support he gets from Christian conservatives is very grudging and reluctant.

Mittens is just a tad better than Obama.

I’m not holding my breath waiting for him to be the next Ronald Reagan.

His record leaves a lot to be desired.

“Verify, then trust.” Mittens has to work to earn conservative support.

Santorum always endorses the most left candidate available.

Specter when he can and Romney when he doesn’t have Specter.

Santorum was an enthusiastic Romney endorser in 2008.

RE:”Santorum always endorses the most left candidate available

In this case that would be Obama. This is meaningless.

I am well aware of RS’s history as Senator and it is nothing I would support.
