This is code for romney and rubio wanting amnesty. That’s my take anyway. So that issue is almost a wash between and obama — except apparently they at least believe congress should provide the legislaton rather than an E0.

Rubio is no conservative. He's a republican that happens to be latino and some conservatives heard him say a few words that sounded conservative and raised him up as a trophy candidate. There was a time when we claimed Colin Powell was conservative.

Romney is our version of John Kerry. He waves in the wind. Always did and always will.

That being said. Romney was not the only GOP candidate to come out with things similar to what he and Rubio had said this week. Sarah Palin said something similar about the path to citizenship on OReilly. If you're looking to hammer Romney over the head with this issue it will only come back and bite you. It did once a few months ago and that's why the issue went away.

I dare say that this is one of the few occasions where Romney has come out with a conservative response. He did not fall for making this issue about "illegals" as Obama had wished. The issue is BY-PASSING Congress.
