As an intern in a San Diego ER, my late niece caught many of those babies as part of her OB/GYN training.
By executive fiat, today Obama just took the first step to COMPLETELY open our borders (trust me, it is the first step only!) His action makes FOOLS of those who, like our great-great grandparents, played by the rules. It also makes fools of those waiting in those overseas lines to come here THE RIGHT WAY!!!

A Latino “immigration lawyer” on FNN this morning said that if Congress doesn’t like it, they can change the law. He went on to say “THEY DON’T HAVE THE GUTS.” Sadly, he’s right. But if these clowns on Jenkins’ Hill think those latinos (legal and illegal) are going to vote for the GOP, they should be careful to not let their minds wander: They’re too small to be out alone.
Not that it would do any good, I called my congresscritters’ (202-224-3121) this morning to ask when they plan to offer Articles of Impeachment for this, the Law of the Seas Treaty, the activities of Holder, et al, the waste of taxpayer bucks on the green jobs idiocy, etc., etc. I’ll spare you the entire list as it runs to a few hundred pages. If impeachment is not their plan, I asked them to have the decency to RESIGN as the first branch of this government is clearly no longer needed and Obama could use the bucks saved to help buy the coming “election” or perhaps resume his taxpayer funded World Tour.
Bottom line? If you are STILL unconvinced that this guy is a clear and present danger to YOUR way of life, you probably live in a refrigerator crate behind a vacant warehouse. And if that is NOT your current living condition, re-elect this guy and it shortly will be.
Bill O’reilly is a leftist. He loves 0bama, love Lady Gaga and is a true liberal at heart. Only on occasion is he right on some things.
It still is as far as that goes. We have changed manpower requirements for the "New Army" since the change to all volunteer (true for all services). We no longer need sweaty grunts to hump ammo boxes up steep hills, we need tech-savy kids that can operate and maintain high-tech gear and "smart" weapons. We do not have the time to teach recruits how to read (a problem even with native born HS graduates!). Nor do we have the time to train MS-13 gang bangers military tactics.
I agree with you that military service as an avenue to citizenship is a worthy idea but I reject the politically correct corollary that anyone who is not a citizen can apply and must be accepted (DADT, women in combat, gay pride, &c, the precedent is there!). The idea also begs the question of how the Military can legally accept "non-documented" recruits! If you're here and current with a visa and decide to fast track an application for citizenship by joining up, good for you. If you were brought in by your parents in the dark of night, Obama waving an EO in the air does not make you legal and if the Military were to accept you they would be complicit in your illegal acts.

This isn’t an illegal immigration issue — it’s a Constitution issue. BHO doesn’t have the constitutional authority to issue an executive fiat that violates our current laws. He cannot bypass Congress and issue laws. I applaud Rep. Steve King for taking legal action against him.

Nope - working today. I usually just watch the primetime FoxBiz when I get home during the week (Cavuto, Dobbs and Willis). Haven’t had a chance to watch Francis yet.
FWIW, I do think the situation is different when we’re dealing with kids who were brought here by their parents.
The KIDS are not criminals any more than is a hostage in the back seat of a car when another person gets kidnapped.
So, since they are not criminals themselves, and since they have not committed any illegal act themselves, they deserve a level of respect that doesn’t necessarily extend to the ones who committed the act.
I don’t know exactly what I’d do, but I think I’d give them some kind of preferential place in line to complete legal immigration themselves with no guilty illegal ever being able to go above worker status.
As always, the correct answer is sealing the border, cracking down on employers, and drying up any economic prospects for illegals.
I’m with Virgil Goode on stopping all legal immigration for a number of years, also. There’s no reason in a time of high unemployment for citizens to be competing for jobs with foreign competition brought in making things tougher on everyone.
