The Obama administration will stop deporting and begin granting work permits to younger illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and have since led law-abiding lives. The election-year initiative addresses a top priority of an influential Latino electorate that has been vocal in its opposition to administration deportation policies.

Talk about vote buying. Can you imagine the outcry had a GOP’er done something like this? These people have no shame.

Yet one more way to harm this country. We have plenty of young citizens unable to find jobs.

Can they vote?

Think about this...if Obama is willing to give illegals immunity, what type of pardons will he issue when he looses the election? Can we count on Barack Hussein Obama to allow the prisons to be emptied during his lame duck session like Saddam Hussein did in Iraq? Will we see all of the minor felons come cascading out of our prisons so that he can equalize the social “injustice” of the past?

Just asking.

Maybe only 800,000 individuals but how many more who are connected to them by family ties? Mama,Pappa, aunts, uncles, grandma, grandpa, Cousin Juan, Cousin Manuel, Cousin.....on and on. Think not hundreds of thousands but millions! Whee! A free ride in the US of A all paid for in Obama Bucks...which are ripped from my unwilling pocket without my consent or congressional approval.

There he goes again. The great pander out pandering again. This guy is the ultimate idiot our country has ever seen in office. We need to defeat him in November.

Well at least here in California we have a surplus state budget, state universities and colleges with ample room for new students and a Cal-Grant system waiting to provide scholarships to these new students. Oh wait. Never mind.

Yeah, and these 800k would never think to immediately obtain visas for every member of their family back home, who Eric Holder is busy making eligible to vote.

And I agree - the FOOL Rubio caused this pander. Republicans should know by now you can never out-pander a liberal democrat. Obama would've likely been able to skate thru the election by offering nothing more than vague promises to the latino community.

You’re right. We do need to beat him in November, but don’t hold your breath. There are a lot more moochers than there are us. I’m totally disgusted. Thinking about moving and starting my own country founded on our once beloved Constitution.

Report: Deportations hit record number

poliico ^ | | 7/22/11 7:30 AM EDT | ELIAS GROLL

Posted on Friday, June 15, 2012

The Obama administration deported nearly 400,000 people last year – a record – with the number driven up by those tossed out for traffic violations and drunken driving, according to a report on Friday.

The focus on ousting those with relatively minor offenses raises questions about whether the administration has lived up to its promise to focus on deporting the most dangerous offenders, the Associated Press says.

During the fiscal year that ended in Sept. 30, 393,000 people were deported, and half of those were considered criminals. Of the criminal deportations, 7 percent were based on traffic violations, 23 percent were drug violations and 14 percent were drunken driving violations, according to an analysis by the AP.

I take these grants of rights to illegals as evidence that the government doesn’t give a damn about the people who are here legally. All citizens and legal aliens in this country have to shoulder the costs of the people who come here illegally.

“illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and have since led law-abiding lives”
As children they did not commit a crime and as deportee they may not be able to function in the land of their parents. I’m sure Obama is doing it for the election as he is doing it at a late hour of his first term. I understood what Rick Perry meant “have “no heart”. I think the blame lies with government not controlling borders an immigration after amnesty in the 80’s. If you don’t enforce the laws for 30 years what can be expected.
