Mitt Romney on Wednesday castigated President Obama, telling the chief executives of 100 of the nations biggest corporations that the president has ushered in the most anti-investment, anti-business, anti-jobs series of policies in modern American history.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee ticked through a series of proposals that he said would foster a friendlier business climate repealing Obamas health-care law, authorizing more oil and natural gas drilling, halting all Obama-era regulations and lowering corporate and individual tax rates.
But Romney employed particularly stinging rhetoric in a sort of campaign prebuttal, a day before the president is expected to deliver a major campaign speech in Ohio in which he tries to reframe the economic debate.
Seizing again on Obamas comment last week that the private sector is doing fine, Romney said, the incredulity that came screaming back from the American people, I think, has caused him to rethink that.

Mitt seems to be getting pretty tough. I like this.
Give’em Hell, Mitt!
That should make BHO’s OWS supporters very happy. All businesses need to be destroyed to create the socialist utopian “paradise on earth.”
They’re anti-American too!
He didn’t need the qualifier “modern”.
He's absolutely right and he needs to repeat this line at every campaign stop until Election Day.
He risks shocking Juan McCain and his fat slut daughter.
With McCain’s insistence that leaks of Top Secret material came directly from the WH, I am sure he is on board for a chance to secure a cabinet seat.
Obama doesn’t stand a chance in November, he’s finished. Anybody here live in New York city? Remember when he won how crazy blacks (besides white liberals) went celebrating? It was really a moving scene, at least for me, for the fact that he was the first African American POTUS, but other than that, to me I knew they were being conned and would regret voting for him and now it seems I am proven right.
From what I’m hearing on the street, the new thoughts about Obama are “F Obama” LOL.. There is massive unemployment for blacks right now in NYC. Looong long long lines on the welfare/food stamp offices. I saw one last week on Northern Blvd. here in Queens that went on for 2 blocks! When Bush was POTUS there were NO lines!
Today, I had one black fellow ask me for change (which happens a LOT now). He was well cleanly dressed, didn’t appear to be on drugs or a boozer, so I gave him $5 bucks. I asked him what he thought of Obama. And his reply? “F-— Obama!” and quite a few other expletives. He actually got really ticked off! And this is NEW YORK CITY the liberal ground zero of the East coast! Obama has destroyed their lives! They are homeless and living in shelters. They feel lied to and conned. You may find a different reaction with employed blacks, but I tell you now, this is not good at ALL for The One. He is going to lose his ASS come November just like Carter did! People are stupid, but they aren’t THAT stupid to ask for a second helping of arse reaming.
0bama has thrown blacks under the bus for illegal immigrants. Illegals are more reliable when it comes to voting on election day.
The reason this is so devastating is that obama has portrayed Romney as the ultimate businessman, so when Romney says obama doesn’t know anything about business, he has credibility.
Just as long as Mitt doesn’t come out with the McCain line of “You have nothing to fear from (another) Obama term”.
You are a far braver person than I.
I live in the Bronx and see barely any “2012” stuff at all.
I see some here or there in Westchester, but not much at all either.
Is it possible, even at this late date, that he ISN’T the Dems candidate?
Mitt can smell it. He knows if he doesn't f*ck up he will win easily. He won't be kissing BHO’s ass!
You’re absolutely correct. Mitt can smell it. It is “his to lose” as they say. It was his Dad’s to lose in 1968, but George made a remark that he had been “brainwashed” about VietNam. Now days Dems have been saying the same or similar about W lying to them about Iraq etc. So Mitt saw his great Dad fall (not even a gaff); took a mighty fall. Mitt is being cautious, not overpromising, not pandering to any particular group. Meanwhile the media and anti-Christians (and anti-Mormons) are baying at his heels. He now needs our help. Those of us Freepers and conservatives who are not taking their marbles and sitting this one out. Please help.
Well done Mitt!!
I’m in the heart of the beast and I will be supporting both “Rinos”, Scott Brown and Mitt. I would crawl through broken glass to vote for them both!
I give them money all the time and never have a problem. Probably the saddest I’ve ever come across was a black guy wearing a suit who had a little girl with him and he told her to wait and he walked up to me and asked if I could spare some change so he could buy her a soda. Him too I gave $5 bucks. These aren’t bums or drug addicts or alcoholics but people who just want to work but they’ve been scammed and used by a bunch of Marxist sc*mbags and to me it seems like they are finally waking up to that fact. Obama is going to lose November and it will be a looooong time before another ‘rat is ever elected agan as POTUS .
Even the most leftist part of NYC the upper West side I hardly see any Obama 2012 stuff. They know he is a massive F up but just don’t want to admit it so they choose not to promote him instead, except for a few like that horse faced jackass Sarah Jessica Parker holding a fundraiser for him at the Plaza. Yeah that’s really looking out for the working class, hold a fundraiser near the 59th street bridge during rush hour so it takes people 20 hours to ge home. They also shut down the subways. I freakin love it! By the time November comes around there won’t be one person from NYC who will vote for that fool.

I guess I wasn't clear enough, I have no problem with black people, or anybody really, asking me for money, and when it seems warranted, I have done so in the past.
The part that I would never do, is ask a black person on the street about Obama, that takes a pair and a half.
The last time something like this happened to me, was when I was reading a young female African Americans shirt, which had something praising Obama. She looked at me and said, menacingly: "You DID vote for Obama, didn't you?", to which I simply smiled and walked past.
On the other hand, my neighbor, who is Haitian and a former Obama supporter, we talk about Obama all the time..
