The “applause” makes it sound like he’s having an Amway house party and maybe a dozen neighbors showed up! Couldn’t they find a Kenyan and Indonesian flag to place behind him? Does he even go to the bathroom without a teleprompter?

Should be 'Fore!'ward
The term (fore) means "look ahead", and it is believed to come from the military "beware before", which an artilleryman about to fire would yell alerting nearby infantrymen to drop to the ground to avoid the shells overhead (Wikepedia)
In other words, "incoming" load of bullsh*t.

To: rogue yam
Just saw Romney's speech.. Excellent. He focused on jobs, jobs, jobs.. Says he'll immediately approve Keystone and tap our energy resources instead of threaten them, overturn 0bamacare, thumbs down on Dodd/Frank and other excessive gov. regs.. Repeatedly bashed 0bama's anti-business agenda.. Romney focused on America as the land of opportunity where we should hold entrepreneurs high on a pedestal instead of punish them. Make America attractive to the world's dreamers again.. Romney praised America repeatedly. What a pleasant contrast to 0bama he is. I know many here are down on Romney but his positivity about America goes a LONG way towards erasing the 'downer environment' perpetuated by 0bama.
Obama vs. Romney.. There's no greater contrast of spirit here, folks. Say what you will about Romney but unlike 0bama, he is an inspirational leader.
To: rogue yam
He mentions “stalemate in Washington”, but he’s never been caught working with congress. He’s a lazy bum, which is a big reason the stalemate has been perpetuated.
Blaming Bush by saying “what we were told before 2008”.

What 4 million jobs does he keep talking about? Where is he getting this number?
6 million jobs lost - 4 million jobs added = 2 million jobs lost.
I don’t get it and haven’t seen anyone properly rebuff it.

Blaming Bush I'm glad to hear they're rolling out the new strategy. Because it sounds more like a concession speech than a case for reelection.

Four more years! Four more years!Well, my only regret is that Bush didn't have another 6 months to a year. The economy would have received his focus and we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today.
I think it's time Bush came out of hiding. The GOP should be running ads now talking about how Bush's successor exacerbated thr problem by ignoring it, focusing on potential solutions that even in foresight had very little chance of succeeding, and refusing to take responsibility.
Bush had the perfect opportunity to blame his predecessor for the attacks on 9/11, and he didn't do it. Although lots of us in the know passed around that blame, Bush focused on addressing the issue by invading Afghanistan and rousting most of alQuaeda instead of ignoring the problem til it was too late, as our current so-called leader did - and is still doing so today after almost 4 years. Bush focused on the terrorists, but OBAMA has not really focused on the economy - primarily because HE does not have an inkling of understanding of how that economy functions. Most of HIS actions have actually worsened the problem rather than fixed it. And we conservatives predicted that outcome... but the Congressional Dimmocrats, who were in power the first two years of OBAMA's precidency were more interested in playing to their liberal base than in solving the problems. And their only motive was so they could continue to blame Conservative principles for all of our ills.
