Well, if you start ordering, then inviting your friends to the restaurant to eat, order bottles of champagne, grabbing at the waitresses and tripling the tab, then forcing the rest of the restaurant patrons to pay for it you wouldn’t be far off. And then you don’t tip because there isn’t enough money.

However, what you should have done was the minute they got up, you call the waiter and say they are skipping out on the tab.... Didn’t quite do that, eh skippy?

We were having financial problems and you boasted that you could help, you had all the answers, you were so very capable. So, we invited you to join us for a meal. Then you ordered expensive wine and hors d' oeuvres; Wagyu beef and your wife ordered several preparations of lobster. You also brought your kids and mother-in-law, relatives, and a large group of friends. They all indulged themselves and ordered expensive meals…and dessert. At the end of the meal we complained that we certainly couldn’t pay the tab and now have a worse financial problem. But you said it wasn’t your fault. And that you was just a guest and not responsible for the debt, since we were in trouble before you came to dinner. We will be sure never to invite you again.
