President Barack Obama is rapidly losing support among African-American voters in North Carolina, a new poll out today from the Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling shows.
The poll finds that Mitt Romney would get 20 percent of the African-American vote if the election were held today, compared with 76 percent for Obama. Overall, Romney has a 48 percent to 46 percent lead on Obama in the crucial swing state.
Obama received 95 percent of the support from African-Americans in North Carolina in the 2008 election, compared with just 5 percent for Republican nominee John McCain.

If this is true (his sinking numbers) then that explains the “got your back” commercial. It is amazing that the campaign feels the need to reach out to this voting block. His internals must be very scary for Axelrod and company.

He’s lost the middle after Obama Care, the 2010 Mid term showed that. Moderates have bailed on him. All he has left is the far left and the black community.
The far left is upset over Obama no going farther on many things, many feel betrayed over his lack of action in Wisconsin. Gitmo still being open and the frequent drone strikes.
The black vote, the Gay Marrige is hurting him - now in matro areas, I dont thing as much, but blacks in the south like North Carolina.....yes its going to hurt.
Some of Bambi’s most passionate haters are among the African American community. They feel more betrayed than the rest of us who pretty much expected to get screwed over when he was elected.
They are seeing him for the Jive Huckster that he is.
Oh, he’ll still get every vote in Derm.
I suspect that Obama will still win over 90% of the black vote...
only turnout won’t be so high this time around.

Just the fact that he has to even make a commercial like that speaks volumes. Their internal polling must be disastrous!............

The only detractors I have heard of would not have voted for him in 08... so I am skeptical of this. I think it may have more to do with energizing turnout than anything. Who are these folks you speak of.. of course if they didn’t vote for him in 08, then I don’t see them as game- changers? There we go declaring the death of the racist vote. I do feel sorta bad that their historic representative has been a failure. I could not imagine finally getting the point where my race was finally represented in the top office and watch the epic failure. Of course, I would have hoped for a better representative. My race.. Hot- blooded American, will not be represented anytime soon.

He may be that rare presidential incumbent that loses his re-election bid. There has only been 1 incumbent that replaced the other party only to lose reelection in modern times— jimmuh carter (H.W. Bush lost, but he did not replace the other party). Until a few weeks ago I was resigned to an Obama win.
Not so anymore.
Not only is their gas not free, it went up two bucks a gallon.
When they get in the voting booth, they will STILL vote for him.
Blacks are also very religious in this area and many pastors are against O’Bummer since he came out for gay marriage. Remember, NC just opposed gay marriage by a 2/3 to 1/3 margin....

The only color that matters on Election Day is GREEN. I have less than I once did and I will bet that most other people do, too.
For those who are not familiar with those ads, they feature clips of Obama on the campaign trail in 2008 making campaign promises (that were never fulfilled) over a backdrop of funky soul music. When I first heard one on the radio, it sounded like one of those parody SNL commercials.
Let's hope that the trend in North Carolina is replicated all across America. Obama doesn't care about the black people or the American people in general. He only cares about himself.

He did not grow up in the American black (civil rights) experience. Actions speak louder than words and all thought he’s spouted plenty of bull in the black community’s direction, he’s been more than obsequious to Moslems .... and that is who he grew up with in Indonesia. None of this should be a surprise to the black voters in this country ... if they had taken a look behind the exterior color, they would have seen the foreigner who is now in the WH, doing his best to destroy the country.

And that, is the True horror of the Zero Presidency. He’s lowered the bar for what’s acceptable So far, that even his ideological twin, O’Romney, is going to trounce him.
The Zero has been such a monumental disaster that at this point the Republicans could run a dead horse against him and still win.
And after Zero’s retired, that bar will remain lowered That much further because of him. It is not going to be raised again.

Six thousand, four hundred times after the 2010 blowout of the Democrat Party, I have witten on this site and countless others, that the Democrat Party should broom Obama by forcing him to resign....or announce that he will not run for re-election. Yes, I agree. Some just may not go vote at all, rather than not vote for BO. A very few will vote for someone other than BO.
I think that's an excellent point. Obama has debased not only the office, but the entire concept of government.
Romney is his ideological mirror image (big government, nanny state, non-Christian) and the fact that all the "official" GOP thought this would be a winner means that socialism has been accepted at all levels.
The only difference is the mouthpiece.
Getting back to the topic, though, I suspect that Obama is not going to run again. He'll get kicked to what is "upstairs," in his mind...that is, a position with some international organization, probably arranged by Bill Clinton, and some other Democrat will be the candidate and will probably win handily. Romney is a Clinton Democrat in everything but name, and if they run a real Clinton Democrat against him, he'll surely lose.
It is harder when you're an African American, your brains are not like the brains of the White people, you have to work harder to be smart. - or something like that, the exact wording escapes me.
I wish someone would appear who captured that speech and post it everywhere because, it actually is a slap down of the Blacks. In essence, he said they have inferior brains and thinking power. African Americans need to hear him say that and then realize that he has never, ever considered the majority of them to be able to achieve very much.

Forty five years ago we started to pay people to not work. All of us that work resent this, even blacks.
When more than half are riding in the wagon the few that are pulling it need to be chained and whipped to keep it moving. The wagon rolls along until the first hill. We are at that first hill.
