Vets denied access to Vietnam Memorial
Due to high security surrounding President Obama’s visit to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Memorial Day, many veterans were turned away, unable to mourn their fellow soldiers at The Wall.
Retired Army Lieutenant General John Sylvester was one of the vets turned away, and he spoke out about the rebuff on Fox and Friends. Sylvester said that he didn’t take offense on his own behalf, but on behalf of all those who died in the war. He said, “It’s about those 58,000 plus soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines that are represented on that wall. That wall is America’s wall. It is not the presidents wall.”
The organization of which Sylvester is a part, the 11th Armored Cavalry Association, gathers on both Memorial Day and Veterans Day to place a wreath on the wall and to “be able to stand there reflectively, to be able to reach up and touch names of real-life humans, people that we knew, and it is our day as veterans to go and honor those men who are represented on that wall.”

You also have to wonder how many of these are die hard democrats who will forget this and just vote Obama because he is a democrat.
We have a law in place prohibiting demonstrations like Obama’s from taking place there.
Whoever is in charge of team obunghole the last couple of weeks is awesome. He could not make the Kenyan look worse if he was trying. I wonder if he is doing it by accident? It is hard to believe they are this incompetent/tone deaf.

Aw oh, it sounds like more of the same type of efforts that led to the security leaks, the attempt to portray Obama as a strong military leader, which he is not.
The Obama administration didn’t want any show of military opposition to his leadership.
EVERYthing....including Memorial Day, a day on which we remember those who gave their all in defense of our country, currently led by a putz who never served a day in his life....is about HIM, donchaknow.
They have this silly rule about swearing and calling this piece of ____ what he really is. I am a former Marine and I served with a lot of these brave men and women. I think you can fill in the blanks. I wasn’t even on a very good roll, remember these words all roll together as one sound.

Doesn’t this make you sick to your stomach? I heard about this before and thought this action was lower than low. I hope he enjoyed his *photo-op*. I want him to one day be able to look at all his pictures....in a jail cell (I hope).
