Dana Loesch

@DLoesch

Chris just set off TSA "alarm." Additional "screenings" required. Unreal. 10 Jun 12

Are we talking about the Bush who gave us the famous omen of ‘a new world order’ is coming?

Napalitano from New Mexico

I wish that were true,l then we in AZ could blame NM. Unfortunately, we must claim her.

But her drivers licenses is most likely NM issued.

Establishing a new governmental department that depends on the person not the process is the dumbest thing one can do. Bush did more harm for liberty than he did good there is no arguing that from my perspective. As he traded free markets for tarp he traded our liberty for his notion of security

Next to Nixon he ballooned government departments like no other. It is completely reasonable to judge past decisions. Do I think his intent was bad... No he was just biased for security not liberty.

Well, she did carpet-bag in from somewhere, so it could be NM.

They have expanded beyond the airport now.

Wait till they declare all interstates their exclusive domain and if any state troopers or local police want to work on it, they have to become part of the Federal Task Force.

Or they’ll say “Bush did the same thing.” I understand how someone could call themselves a Christian and vote for obama. Calling yourself a Christian and being one is another thing. But a veteran?

Previous post was on the wrong thread.

I don’t know why they do it. The last three times my wife flew (before they started making you take your shoes off) they would make her take hers off. And everytime she was wearing sandals.

Maybe you’re right. They’re seeing just how much we’ll put up with. And sadly, most people in this country will say “I’m more than happy to put up with it as long as I know my plane won’t be hi-jacked.” The thing is, TSA has never stopped one hi-jacking.

Funny thing was, the week we flew home, they had just changed their policies to allow people over a certain age to keep their shoes and jackets on. So my cousin kept her shoes on and they felt her up and went through her purse and carryon with a fine-tooth comb! Unbelievable!

I must fly, if I want to keep my business going.

I always avoid the X-ray, instead requesting the "hand job." Those are the only words I speak to the a-holes.

One of these days I plan to eat a few cans of beans the night prior and offer random Joe TSA a free breath of fresh air rearward while he is playing with my junk.

They now allow people “OVER A CERTAIN AGE” to keep their shoes on? It just gets dumber and dumber.

If it’s not within driving distance, I’ll never go.

"Last month, my 79-year-old cousin and I flew to California together. We both are overly-white with blue eyes, one with grey hair and one blonde. We’re both under 5’ tall and semi-disabled. BOTH of us supposedly set off alarms and were subjected to additional screening, including obscene patdowns and swabbing! Obviously, neither of us were terrorists or capable of doing anyone any harm. I have never seen any Arab-looking people put through these humiliations, especially women in hijabs or burkas! WHY? What is the point of any of this? My personal opinion is to get us used to being sheep, to “prepare” us for what’s coming. Maybe I’m crazy, but it sure isn’t for our security!"

Well, you are not likely to scream Allahu Akbar or sic CAIR on them either. You are right, this is about conditioning and control to assure a compliant population, It is Security Theatre, not the real thing. Look at the absence of security for the contractor employees who have free access to the planes. There are even multiple incidents of mass arrests of illegal aliens working as airport employees with proper security IDs but not enough of a background check to determine their legal presence in the US.

If I was an al-Queda-sympathizing cab driver, I would just sprinkle a little bit of gunpowder on the back seat of my cab. If they get enough false positives, then testing will stop.

Absolutely. I am appalled that people can’t make that little leap of reason. If something sounds good, how would it be used by the other side? That’s the fastest way to figure out that it is not a good thing. If you have to depend on the enforcers being the right sort of people it’s not a good thing at all. People who can’t really reason to Principles should be able to understand that.

Yon cannot blame Bush for the status of TSA today.

Yes, yes I can.
The TSA was, from its inception, built upon principles contrary to the Constitution (4th Amendment).

Jesus was not lying when he said "No man can serve two masters." Here we have a perfect example: the agency could serve either the Constitution or "the powers that be." Obviously they choose the latter, and here's where the sickening thing comes in: "the powers that be" afford them protection and immunities by declaring that they are not violating the Constitution when to anyone with an ounce of intellectual honesty can see that they are plainly violating the requirement[s] for warrants.

Then my wife and I had to get a lecture from a woman because my wife’s hand lotion was more than the limited ounces allowed. Now, keep in mind the tube said one more ounces that are allowed but it was only half full. I guess that means you can’t carry an empty bottle if the maximan contents listed on the bottle is more than the TSA allows.

That's nothing; I had a friend come over from Indonesia (he does missionary-work) and the customs official wouldn't let him bring some Indonesian food (equivalent of Ramen-noodles) because they could be carrying bird-flu, you know in the artificial chicken flavor packet. Apparently the guy could not get his head around the concept of "artificial = fake".

When I hear stories like that, it makes me wonder how we-as-a-nation are "afloat" at all, to any degree.
