Obama’s week goes from bad to worse
The Washington Times ^ | 8 Jun 2012 | Dave Boyer

When President Obama looks back on the past week, perhaps he’ll remember fondly the pies that first lady Michelle Obama purchased for him at a bakery in Virginia – because the rest of his week was a political nightmare.

Mr. Obama’s week to forget began with a disappointing report on the economy on Friday, June 1, showing that the unemployment rate rose to 8.2 percent in May, up from 8.1 percent in April.

It was hardly the kind of news to give Mr. Obama momentum heading into the final five months of his reelection campaign, and he seemed subdued as he spoke to supporters that night at what should have been a raucous campaign fundraiser in his hometown of Chicago.

“We’re not where we need to be,” Mr. Obama said in the mostly quiet ballroom, referring to the jobs report. “We’ve still got miles to go on this journey.”

The president did get to sleep in his own bed in Chicago that night, something he has yearned to do. And the next day, he went for a stroll in his old neighborhood (watched closely by Secret Service agents), another act of freedom for which he’s clamored.

From there, however, things went bad in a hurry.

After Mr. Obama campaigned with former President Bill Clinton Monday night in New York City, Mr. Clinton gave a TV interview Tuesday in which he supported extending temporarily the George W. Bush-era tax cuts for all Americans to help the economy.

That ran counter to the wishes of Mr. Obama, who wants taxes to increase for families earning more than $250,000 per year.

Republicans promptly called for Mr. Obama to follow Mr. Clinton’s advice.

It's obvious that being POTUS is above Obama's pay grade.

He isn’t prepared for this because his ENTIRE life he has been coddled; people think that to scrutinize any part of his decisions or any part of his past is a priori an act of negro-hating.

People were horrified just by the thought of that, and so went along allll this time —until now.

I think his own people will do him in —we don’t have to do anything at all, now.

We should just watch quietly and act startled and mystified as the train hurtles through town, smashing stuff and tearing itself apart.

Unfortunately being a shift manager at a fast-food restaurant is also above Obama's pay grade. I wouldn't hire this guy to mow my lawn. He would probably pour oil into the gas tank and ruin the engine.

Is there anything at all that Obama can do well?

I think Obama knows he is toast come November....

He probably spends his nights dreaming of ways to exact revenge on America for rejecting his brilliance ....and socialist vision....

He will have three months to wreck havoc during his lame duck session....

Ruin my country under the guise of change and leave my kids and future grandkids hopelessly in debt.

Last line of the editorial: “Mr. President did you enjoy the pie your wife bought you?”

You just can’t get anything past these crackerjack reporters these days, they are so tough.

The litany neglects that Zer0 and his comrades had to admit that the national security intelligence leaks WERE significant by having H0lder kick off official investigations.

The hand waving dismissal had not proven to be enough, even though it was performed by The W0n.

Ok, here's why Obama should be reelected. Did anyone notice what he said?

We’re not where we need to be.

See how smart he is?

Dems were already in a panic before Obama let it slip that he thinks the private sector of the economy is doing too good. This week was a disaster for Obama, heck the last month was.

Of those on MSNBC only Matthews showed viewers that he was soiling his pants, the others just read their scripts showing false confidence to keep moral up. The comedy was watching them claim Romney is lying, yet they think Obama is brilliant for doing that.

More importantly, America’s Freedom has gone to worse under this loser, nobama...the Destroyer. Because of what nobama and his corrupt minions continue to do, they all should be having a bad day in a cell in Leavenworth. Pox upon them all.
