Report: Florida Governor Charlie Crist paid to hide gay affairs
Digital Journal ^ | June 8, 2012 | Larry Clifton

Tallahassee - Rumors that former Florida governor Charlie Crist is gay have been around for years, but new allegations have surfaced that he had affairs with two men and paid them to leave the state to avoid embarrassment.

The allegations are made in Discovery documents related to Jim Greer's case involving alleged illegal use of Republican Party funds, according to a 10 News WTSP report. Damon Chase, attorney for Greer, who is set to go to trial on July 30 for allegedly paying himself to raise money for the Republican Party of Florida, says Crist is homosexual and once tried to kiss his client at a Beverly Hills, Calif. hotel. Greer, who faces criminal charges, implicated Crist in the investigation early on by maintaining the former governor approved his alleged illegal dispursement of Republican Party funds. Crist left the Republican Party and ran for re-election as an Independent in 2010, but faded fast in the race behind Democrat Alex Sink and Republican Rick Scott, who eventually became governor. Besides allegations that he forced himself on Greer, Chase claims in the Discovery documents that Crist had drunken escapades while governor that included trying to run over people with a golf cart while driving drunk and paying two men he had gay relationships with to leave the state. Chase told John Morgan of Morgan and Morgan, the law firm where Charlie Crist presently works, that if he were deposed, Crist would be embarrassed. Morgan said if the former Governor were a homosexual, it would have nothing to do with the case and he would “have to be a 'sick s.o.b. to try to kiss Porky the Pig,’ a reference to the rather rotund Greer. Morgan likened the allegations to a cheap lawyer trick such as asking “when did you stop beating your

That’s a pretty short list, but I was being hyperbolic here in the late night. I know there are good people in politics. Still there are a lot of enablers out there, and it needs to stop. All symptoms of Sodom & Gomorrah wannabes.

Who is enabling gays to rise to power in the GOP?
We need to figure that out and run them out of the party.

Crist left the Republican Party and ran for re-election as an Independent in 2010, but faded fast in the race behind Democrat Alex Sink and Republican Rick Scott, who eventually became governor.

Who the hell wrote this? Crist did not run for re-election. He ran for U.S. Senate in the primary, then dropped out of that when it became clear he would lose. Then he ran for the U.S. Senate as an "independent" and got his ass kicked. By Marco Rubio.

And yeah, it is very easy to believe Crist is a homosexual. But this kind of journalism is suspect.

So glad he decided to leave the Republicans. I disliked Crist since day one.

He just always seemed sleezy. I guess first impressions are often right.

Who?

It's pretty clear the guys advancing the gay infilitration into the Republican party have been other gays ~ and there's a long list of them including Mehlman who was RNC Chairman.

They act like he was closeted ~ but it was pretty obvious that he was not normal. I think we need a list of all the State Chairmen who voted for Mehlman to be Chairman.

But, it continues. First guy the party put in place as "interim chair' before Priebus could take the job was that Gillespie fellow again ~ who has been a long time 'Bush Advisor" and now a 'Romney Advisor" ~ for a while he was involved in the supposed initiative for a constitutional amendment outlawing gay marriage ~ which hasn't gotten anywhere ~ not a big time item with the party people ~ and even something shied away from by Boehner and that crowd.

I noted way back when the RNC chair was selected that the Romney crowd was taking over the party at the top piece by piece and we'd see pretty soon what their position on gay related issues really was ~ as well as Romney ~ and that didn't take long.

Romney's first really major "hire" once he saw he might need some intellectual muscle was a gay guy who works for John Bolton.

We can only imagine he was recommended by Bolton, but the immediate Romney campaign staff people ~ Charlie Crist's former campaign staff people ~ had to have been in on advising him that 'It's OK to hire a gay guy boss ~ we need to show 'em we mean them no harm".

So, you ask, who are they? I think the answer is pretty clear ~ the Bush crowd, the Romney crowd, the Crist crowd, the people who voted for Priebus for RNC Chair (to a large extent they are either gay or soft on gays), and probably a couple of other sources.

We might even take a look at some of the pacs ~ where the Log Cabin crowd takes a major part.

We might even rename the "GOP-e" as the "GOP-h"

Check my post at #29.

Then, tell us why this type of journalism is 'suspect' ~ it cross references well with OTHER STORIES about gay involvement in the top echelon of the Republican party!

It's not like we don't have a gay problem ~

BTW, the public is pretty loose when it comes to Democrats and gays, but when it comes to the Republicans they are INTOLERANT. We lost the 2006 election big time and gave control of the public purse to Nancy Pelosi over the questions raised in the Mark Foley and Senator Craig cases ~ and then with Ken Mehlman, top aides to Hastert in the House, and so on.

We could actually LOSE 2012 with this particular issue ~ time to make it go away ~ and that's by getting rid of the people who bring it into the party. They simply have to be purged.

Nothing personal in it at all ~ but we have to WIN FIRST.

A gay Democrat is a non-story. A gay Republican is earth shattering ~ and we lose elections with these guys running around.

The MSM correctly perceives the public's toleration for gay Democrats.

The author got basic facts wrong. Crist did not run for re-election with Scott and Sink. He ran for the U.S. Senate.

The open secret about Crist is well-known. No one misses him in the Republican party. He was a bigger RINO than McLame from Arizona.
