There have been tons of Trayvon threads, so we all know this for what it is.
That being said, (and this being an ‘old’ report), I sympathize with the feelings that the Mother and Father had over the loss of their son. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, no matter the circumstances.
What should also be remembered, is that the Mother and Father seemed to have no problems accepting the fate of their son, for almost a month after it happened. THEN... someone ‘latched’ onto the case and passed the info on up the chain, and the MEDIA and POLITICIANS got involved, and suddenly everything changed.
The parents have been dancing on the lid of their son’s coffin ever since. I hope Trayvon can forgive them, eventually.
I object to the pejorative phrase “self appointed”. We could say the exact same about the OWS crowed or indeed about various community “organizers”. In that context, Zimmerman was just as much a community organizer as the Just-us Brothers are today.

I thought neighborhood watch was bad.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Did the residents of this community self-organize a neighborhood watch program, with the knowledge of the Sanford PD? Were there other residents, organized to volunteer in like manner?
The police dispatcher didn’t seem surprised or put off by the fact that Zimmerman was out and about, observing what was happening in the neighborhood.

whoops, it just came up in on the top of Google.News page I came across. didnt read the dates. Not sure why it was on the top of there.
The political/regulator class and its bosses are sponsoring that so-called news as one of its efforts to disarm and disenfranchise the private sector.

You read that and think it’s significant, when it’s evil. Not only is Zimmerman himself a minority, there is no indication he shot the guy because he’s black.
Further, this story isn’t about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin, not really.
This story is saying “Whites shoot Blacks”, even though we know statistically is a lie. This story is saying YOU white reader discriminate against and murder all YOU black readers in America.
OK people come in different colors, but we know they don’t write stories in which they say TM who was BLACK, attacked GZ who is WHITE. That is considered racism. They want to perpetuate this leftist fantasy taht whites do horrible things to blacks in this country on a regular basis due to skin color. And that is a lie.
I can live with that. So many two syllable words, so little time. :)
I tried both links and all I get is a blank blue page. I gave it every permission to load crap on my browser too. I notice that ABC didn’t spell Trayvon’s name correctly in their URL though.
