On Fox News Channels Special Report on Tuesday, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer called former President Bill Clinton a double agent, saying that Clinton is not doing President Barack Obama any favors.
During the All-Star Panel segment, Krauthammer said Clintons recent remarks praising former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romneys business record were contradictory to the Obama re-election campaigns strategy.
Well, I think he really is now a bull in a china shop, Krauthammer said. And theres a lot of crockery being destroyed. Its very clear. When he said the thing about the sterling business record, that was extremely undermining because, of course, it contradicted the whole roll-out strategy of the Obama campaign, which was to portray Romney as vulture capitalist.
So it undoes that, but I think it had broader implications, he continued. I think what was overlooked is the fact Romney met the threshold for the presidency. Thats extremely important in a re-election campaign.
Krauthammer likened the scenario to former incumbent President Jimmy Carters effort to disparage the credibility of his challenger Ronald Reagan, which fell short after the debates during the 1980 presidential election.

Really?
I’d forgotten how wildly and irresponsibly Bill Clinton talks. I hope he continues to “help” the Kenyan.
He can be a little of both, but in this case I suspect BJ Billy knows exactly what he’s doing. BTT.
Had he kept his peace, and Obama kept flapping his lips about Bain, Obama would have dug himself into a big hole when detailed comparisons to his green energy programs went viral. They are out there now, but the issue is now dying.
This was essentially a backfire, a self-started fire to avoid a bigger fire. The 'vulture capitalist' problem is now an internal Dem vs Dem deal, and not so much a Obama vs Romney deal.
What it proves is that Clinton is a master politician, and Obama is an amateur, and that Krauthammer doesn't always think too deep.
Of course he knows what he’s doing. It’s all about 2016 baby!
The sentence has a dangling modifier. Carter’s effort fell short, not Reagan’s credibility. Is that what you were questioning?
No, I normally ignore that sort of induced ambiguity (Contextual meaning vs. absolute meaning).
Its just using some two "party" analogy to the three "party" situation makes zer0 sense to me. It adds nothing to the analysis.
Clinton grew up in the New York mob faction that controlled Arkansas. He knew how to be respectful of the capos. He knows how things are done in a criminal organization. It's a group effort. There is safety in numbers. Lone wolves eventually get eaten. Ubama is a lone wolf.
And his time is just about up.
“Of course he knows what hes doing. Its all about 2016 baby!”
Can you imagine what Hillery will LOOK like in 2016?
I do not think that physical appearance should be a factor in choosing our President. However, Hillery will be going after the “young & hip crowd”, those too young to have a lick of sense. Her appearance will hurt her with that demographic.
Plus, time & fads move on. In four years that crowd will have forgotten Paris Hilton, The Kardashians, Ellen Degenerate AND Hillery.
“Of course he knows what hes doing. Its all about 2016 baby!”
Yep, and not to mention payback.
Thank you! Let no one forget that Clinton committed treason in return for chicom cash! I can’t wait to pee on his grave - the only honor this traitor deserves!

The former president is entitled to his opinions and is under no moral or legal obligation[s] to do anything for anyone except himself.
Charles never heard the wisdom that when the enemy is destroying itself, shut up and get out of the way?
