I just turned on MSLSD for a few seconds last night, after someone on the WI live thread mentioned how whacked out they were all acting (I mean more so than usual).
My television generally stays among 5 channels...FAUX, Food network, Travel Channel, History channel and TLC-—OH...and PBS music programming but only during their begathons and FOX during American Idol ;-) LOL
I see that the commemoration of D-Day is now forgotten history. No press, no presidential comment, no prayers for the dead and wounded. It is no longer newsworthy, and Google doesn’t know it exists.
The memory of the greatest generation lasted 67 years. I wonder how long the memory of our generation will last...maybe next Tuesday?
I wish the memories of the pain and sacrifice made by so many could be deleted from the memory of those who suffered so easily.
