Ed Schultz Lurches From Panic to Incoherence Over Wisconsin Recall
Newsbusters ^ | 6-4-12 | Jack Coleman

Posted on 06/04/2012 8:36:18 PM PDT by tcrlaf

What a difference 48 hours makes in the barren wasteland known as Ed Schultz's mind.

Back on May 29, Schultz warned of giant flaming acorns falling from the sky if Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker prevailed in a June 5 recall election against Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who was defeated by Walker in the 2010 gubernatorial race. (audio clips after page break)

Here's Schultz sounding the alarm that a Walker victory could foreshadow President Obama's defeat in November, which in turn would usher in an era of permanent GOP control of the White House (audio) --

They are trying to set it up that if Mitt Romney gets elected, if Mitt Romney gets elected, there will never be a Democratic president again in the history of the United States. The future is just, this is the way it's going to be. There'll never be a Democratic president in our lifetime again. And when I say in our lifetime, I'm talking about long, long, long, long, long time.

This is why Wisconsin's so important. The people of the country need to know that you can defeat it. And this in many respects is doing the country a favor, the way they're operating, the way they're lying, the way they're backing up the worst candidate, the worst governor in the country, his record's horrendous, and who he's a puppet to.

So that's why this is so important. They're trying to make it so Barack Obama doesn't get re-elected and no Democrat ever will be elected into the White House.

"This is why Wisconsin's so important" -- Walker wins, Obama in turn loses, and it's the end of the world as we know it.

A real happy ending would be the demoKKKrat party being banned and outlawed forever, and their leaders rounded up and put in cages at the National Zoo on Connecticut Ave. and the bars welded shut, and charge people to look at them.

But I could live with the version Schultz describes.

I have, on occasion, intentionally listened to this man on radio. And with God as my witness, never have I heard a person so consistently separated from reality.

I think he really believes what he says. I do not think it’s an act with him. The problem is that he believes what he says each time he says it, even when the next thing opposes the prior. In other words, the man is batshit insane.

"In other words, the man is batshit insane."

You can say that again! LOL!

I go through the channels then stop at his show for curiosity.

What a nut! It's like he is on another planet with that asine logic.

People spouting his ‘logic’ need to publicly be laughed at. They need to be told how stupid they look/are to the eyes of a thinking person.

Schultz and co. need to get the Alynski treatment they espouse because it works. It’s pretty easy to make them look like idiots in the same way it’s easy to demonstrate water is wet. On the rare instance I deal with libs directly, I have taken to simply bust out laughing and walk away when the spouting of nonsense begins. When they ask where I’m going (always happens) I reply “To find someone with a freaking clue as to what they’re talking about.

Works great in a crowd and makes them go bug nuts crazy. They get laughed at by almost everyone. THAT is what needs to happen on the radio, TV and in real day to day life.

People that stupid need to be made aware of said stupidity and others warned...because it might rub off on them ;)

I think that you and I must be related because I do the same thing.

I call them on their BS every time and I could care less about the place that I am at or who is there.

Would you believe that at one time Schultz was a conservative?

My tolerance for idiocy is now zero. After years of dealing with friends, co workers and family that function intellectually at spoiled child level, I just don’t care anymore. I’m not perfect, but at least when I take a position, I arrived at it with a bit more thought and research than 5 min of the nightly news. I’m not always 100% right, but I have legit reasons for what I believe and can back them up with critical thought and logical argument. The left/pseudo right cannot say the same...thus they are not worth a respectful discussion and should be mocked ruthlessly.

Yeah. I heard he was a sports caster in Michigan and at one time was a conservative. I'm not sure as to how or what changed him though. You might be able to find the answer at Rush Limbaughs web-site.

Probably in the ‘Token’ sense. Or he was what he was paid to be. Anyone living through Ronaldus Magnus and then going lib is either insane, paid off, or was never right wing to begin with.

With Special Ed, anything’s possible I guess. Magical thinking makes it so! ;)

Yep.....Zero tolerance here also.

I have actually been accused of having tourettes because I say what I am thinking without the filters that most people have.

The philosophy behind politeness has been so bastardized that we now ‘cannot’ disagree with someone out of dread fear of ‘offense’.

“Offense” is now a greater wrong than rape or murder. Isn’t it pathetic that 20 people shot in a Chicago weekend gets a couple mentions on the news at best, an American reporter was raped in public by a rabid gang in the “Arab Spring” that was covered up, leaked, then all but forgiven... yet “Offending” a muslim, minority or other protected group leads to 24/7 reporting and legal action?

I submit that it does NOT get more “pathetic” than that.

And it’s our collective fault as a people for allowing so called ‘good manners’ to rule us when assertion of fact and reality, AKA “Truth” is the most important thing of all..
