Unbelievable. The Democrats are looking down the barrel of a humiliating defeat in Wisconsin’s recall election on Tuesday, so today they played their last card: they started a rumor that Scott Walker fathered an illegitimate child 24 years ago. The “scoop” comes from something called the Wisconsin Citizens Media Co-op. The “Co-op” attributes the story to a woman named Bernadette Gillick, who teaches physical therapy at the University of Minnesota. Ms. Gillick claims to have known Walker’s girlfriend when they were students at Marquette. The “Co-op” says it has “not been able to independently verify Bernadette’s account.” No surprise there.

Late Saturday night, a left-wing anti-Walker website reported an unconfirmed, second-hand rumor that Gov. Walker fathered a “love child” 24 years ago.

I have it on good authority that the friend of an uncle of a professor of a college where my aunt's child went heard it on the radio that the mother of a man who read it on the internet heard that some guy was talking about, on the subway, that he heard his barber met a prostitute who saw a police report about a poster about this girl who saw on TV that three guys in a bar were talking about a politician who mentioned in a press conference that he heard his father had mentioned that he saw read some magazine that said that Kevin Bacon had overheard from a news anchor that four girls in an elementary school mentioned that their parents had heard on their CB radio that a truckrt had saw some guy who said that he had a friend who knew a roomate of his who had a girlfriend that overheard at a Phish concert that Scott Walker was gay.

Was that Bruce Herschensohn? He was a good candidate but he DID have some porn titles rented and he did go to a strip club, if I recall correctly.

Not that that was any reason to vote against him, it wasn’t...but there was smoke behind the fire, as there was in Ryan’s disgusting marriage behaviors that cost him the vote against Dear Leader.

The moral of the story is, either don’t do those things that can be exposed, or admit them and move on, ‘cause the DemnRats will always find ways to expose that stuff.

I was in a museum in Tucson this past winter. A woman in front of us got into some sort of snit with her husband (they were both of the aging hippy variety) and screeched at him then stomped out. He proceeded to look at the exhibit and left when we did. In the parking lot, the woman was sitting in their car, with a Wisconsin plate and several “Recall Walker”,”Walker hates Education” - type stickers on it. She was still fuming. If she’s any indication of the people trying to recall Walker, I’ll bet every normal person in Wisconsin can’t wait to vote to keep him.

And check out Michelle Malkin’s new site Twitchy.com it’s got some tweets from that Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Daniel Bice (I think that’s his correct name/spelling). It pretty much removes all doubt that there is any “there” here.

Although I won’t be surprised if this story grows little legs, enough to toddle for the next few days.

Hopefully any downside will be off-set by motivation for our side in this fight.

I went to Marquette and knew Scott Walker well during my time there in the 80s. We were in student govt together. I knew who he dated as well. This is a total crock.
