Obama getting hit hard on the economy, his stupid Poland comment and other things....this will be a nice distraction for him. Watch his henchman Sharpton and Jackson get all up in this now...next week will be all Zimmerman 24/7.

Great link.

Apparently the judge is finding that Zimmerman didn’t disclose his financials up front.

And that he has a second passport.

Elsewhere I read today that Z’s attorney does not expect a trial til next year.

So. The racists are gloating over George spending the next 6-9 months behind bars.

Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester said Friday that George Zimmerman misled the court about how much money he had available when his bond was set for $150,000 in April. Prosecutors claim Zimmerman had $135,000 available that had been raised by a website he set up.

Prosecutors also say he failed to surrender a second passport.

Probably raise his bond based on the story. Just get the trial over so the riots can start. / sarc

Why would it be any of the prosecution’s or the judge’s concern if Zimmerman had a second passport or misunderestimated by a few dollars that amount of cash he had in his bank account?

Seems to me this is an outrage. Time for serious prayers for Mr. Zimmerman, as corruption reigns from the bench to the WH to the DOJ.

” Prosecutors also say he failed to surrender a second passport.”

If Zimm gets killed in prison, the prosecutors are off the hook.

Seriously? Because he is a greater flight risk with a second passport and a bunch of money in his bank account. This was pretty dumb. And now he's in jail.

Answers:

1. Because bond is frequently based on ability to pay. The more liquid assets you have available, the higher your bail or bond may be.

2. Because he surrendered his first passport to ensure he doesn't flee the country. Technically, by still having what I assume is a second valid passport, he can still get out of the USA.

This was pretty dumb.

Agreed. I still believe he acted in self-defense, but this certainly diminishes his credibility in the public eye (from which the eventual jury pool will be picked from).

Not to mention bond is set according to your ability to pay and the severity of the crime. It wasn't a few bucks difference, it was a few hundred thousand bucks.

The fix is in.

If Zim goes to jail even one more day, politicians should pay. And I mean PAY. Y'all know what I mean.

You can't really be that stupid. 1, it's his business because it's ILLEGAL to have more than one passport. 2, Because as a condition of bail you must surrender your passport. Any attempt at circumventing that is not only contempt, but fraud, and most certainly demonstrates an intent to flee. I hope George liked jail, because he won't be getting out again pre-trial.

or misunderestimated by a few dollars that amount of cash he had in his bank account?

Yeah, why would we actually expect anyone who claims to be INDIGENT to actually be indigent. Again, fraud on Zimmerman's part. Luckily, all of these facts will be admissible at his trial. They speak volumes about his character.

I agree.

The fact that he's being railroaded isn't Zimmerman's fault, but this bit of trouble is.

Dopey move, if true.
