Thanks. I studied Spanish and French but I really wish I knew Italian.

Actually, it’s Romanian.

In Italian, we say, “Ciao”, (pronounced “chow”), which is used for “hi” and “bye”.

Italians answer the telephone thus: “Pronto!” or, “Allo, allo!”.
