Obama Campaign Finding Itself In A Bad Bind On Bain

Campaign: President Obama claims Mitt Romney fixing lots of companies hurt the economy, while Joe Biden insists he's "not criticizing private equity firms" like Bain Capital. Call it "Schizophrenia We Can Believe In."

The Obama campaign has been going after Mitt Romney's career as a company-fixer at Bain Capital with a vengeance. One Obama ad even featured a fired worker who says you can tell Romney doesn't care because of "the way he talks."

But for all the supposed empathy Obama has for the "99%," more than 8% of them remain unemployed as we approach the end of the president's first term.

Obama used the term "maximize profits" three times during Monday's NATO Summit press conference in Chicago.

"I think my view of private equity is that it is set up to maximize profits," Obama said, proving he hasn't the vaguest idea what the private equity business does.

Bain Capital and the like may be "a healthy part of the free market," but "their priority is to maximize profits. And that's not always going to be good for communities or businesses or workers."

As president, Obama added, "Your job is not simply to maximize profits. Your job is to figure out how everybody in the country has a fair shot."

Bain could be the bane of his existence.

Anything good for America, and our core values, is BAD FOR OBAMA and his Marxist agenda. Another excellent example here.

" Your job is to figure out how everybody in the country has a fair shot."

Yep, If I were in a position to lose my financial ass on a venture capitalism project my first and only concern would be to offer everybody a fair shot. What the hell does that even mean??

This guy can't possible believe his own BS.

And because Obama is liberal, and the MSM is liberal, nobody is going to question what the heck this incoherent statement means. But, they will also agree with their president, and parrot back this statement.

owebama’s job is to reward big dhimmocrat donors with taxpayer money for their “green energy” companies so they can donate some of that money back to him, keep the rest, and then file “bankruptcy” to give it all a veneer of legitimacy.

owebama and the dhimmocrats ARE a criminal organization.

You can say what you want about Romney, but I believe 0bama’s “anti-capitalist/anti-Bain” campaign is forcing Romney into a position where he will be able to educate a great many people about how private capital works. Many people diss Romney, justifiably, for his past positions. I have plenty of irritations with those, as well.

I am a single-issue voter, the only issue to me is whether he can defeat 0bama. I think he is not being especially cogent as to what he did at Bain, but I also believe he is engaging in some preparatory education so that he will be able to explain this better, later. IOW, I am in many ways somewhat disappointed in how he speaks, TODAY, as to Bain et al. But maybe, just maybe, he is being smart, and allowing 0bama to really back himself irretrievably into this collectivist corner. Meanwhile, Romney (and the relative success/failure rates being brought out by the remaining shards of investigative media) educates the lumpen. Somewhat later, Romney is going to be able to draw a very sharp distinction between the form of investment characterized by Solyndra, First Solar, and all these other debacles, with what he did at Bain. And people are going to decide whether they like their tax money stolen and flushed back to contributors. Because ultimately, that impression is going to be made, IMHO. I am saying that it is at least somewhat possible that Romney is engaged in a canny piece of strategery with this.

This guy can't possible believe his own BS.

Look, language and logic and any close correlation to reality have nothing to do with what Bozo says. It's all focus-grouped MESSAGE intended for ingestion by ignorant, innumerate, barely-literate, incoherent voters.

Barky is playing a xylophone only idiots can hear.
