Republicans Backing Off Holder Contempt Charges, Exemplifies Systemic RINO Problem
The American Thinker ^ | 5-24-12 | M. Catherine Evans

Republicans in Congress better wake up and start freezing some of their own targets against the left if they hope to see a GOP victory in November. The level of corruption, from murdered federal agents to looting taxpayer monies got green companies like Solyndra to the war on religion should be enough to have our elected representatives up in arms.

Yet, there are still legislators who remain squeamish in the face of our constitutional republic's impending demise.

Sarah Palin got it right on Monday while on Fox News' "Hannity."

"This phony, hypocritical, one-sided call for a cease-fire by the left and their lapdogs in the media. These leftists politicians saying 'that's going to be off the table, that's going to be off the table...And then for the Republican operatives who are high-paid consultants to candidates agreeing to take things off the table - that's no battle plan for victory on our side - on the common-sense constitutionalist side. It's ridiculous."

These Republican operatives, Palin maintained, "seem to have the fighting instinct of Mr. Snuffleupagus[.]"

Think Palin is off the mark?

An AP reporter at The Hill is now reporting certain Republican congressmen on Issa's House Oversight committee are "wary of going forward" in citing Attorney General Eric Holder with contempt for his part in Fast and Furious. If true, the first Snuffleupagus awards should go to the following:

And then Palin turns around and endorses Orren freakin' Hatch. And I LIKE Palin, but I'm intellectually honest enough to go, WTF LADY? REALLY? Are we really this F'ed up in this country? And I thought I was being unnecessarily pessimistic.

That’s the deal with the left. They’re like alcoholics or drug addicts.

They know where “the line” is, and they intentionally cross it, DARING you to stop them, and if you DO try to stop them, YOU’RE the one that’s causing trouble.

How to depress turnout in the conservative base. The GOP acts like it wants to lose - maybe it does. The GOP acts like conservatives and the Tea Party are more of an enemy than the Democrat socialists.

It's too expensive to send each GOP House member a couple of these.

Perhaps a couple of these will have to do.

Contempt charges will do nothing but refer this issue to the US Atty’s office in the District of Columbia. Is he going to investigate his boss? Probably not. Continue to hold hearings and to subpena witnesses.

GOP and all of our elected officials should be aware that if they are not going to uphold the law, that leaves the People with no choice but to do it themselves. Is this a door our elected officials really want opened?

Our Federal Government is fast coming to the point where its usefulness has come to and end. I think that it may be time to seriously consider abolishing it for the good of the People and the nation.

I gave up on the GOP lite sometime ago. My cousin encouraged me to do it. I was railing to him about something one the them did in Congress and his retort was: you don’t get it, it does not matter whom you vote for, they are all the same guy.

I thought he was wrong then but the more I see, the more I come to believe he is right.

Only salvation is REV II.

It hasn’t gotten much attention because I don’t think the GOP wants any other states getting any ideas but we can change the Republican National Committee fairly easily. That would have fairly wide ranging impact on the GOP and it only takes a few hundred dedicated individuals in each state.

Just last weekend, two of the clowns who voted to change the rules in favor of Romney the day after the Michigan primary were voted out of their committee seats.

Mark Levin also backs Hatch. His program last night played clip after clip of Hatch’s conservative speeches.

expecting the GOPe to actually do anything about it is like expecting Romney to be as tough on Obama as he is on conservatives

Last night, Mark Levin devoted 15-20mins to defending the Hatch RINO as “our elder statesman”. He’s a 36yr, trough-feeding govt leech, Mark! I was yelling at the streaming BS ML was spouting, and didn’t post to my usual evening “TGO” thread, but I was real disappointed in him. After getting rid of that bottom-feeeding Lugar-garbage, there are several dozen more worthless, treasonous lowlife RINOs which need to go!
