One almost has to feel sorry for Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt. He showed up on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 yesterday probably expecting the type of softball questions that MSNBC hosts would toss at him. Instead, Anderson Cooper took a page from Cory Booker's criticism of "nauseating" attacks on private equity firms such as Bain Capital and kept asking LaBolt how the Obama campaign can criticize Bain while simultaneously raising funds from the same type of companies.
The clearly unprepared LaBolt spent the interview filibustering with a flurry of words that were designed not to answer the questions about the obvious fundraising hypocrisy by the Obama campaign. Watch LaBolt as he filibusters his way to the end of the interview without giving any answers:

I agree with Newt Ginrich. CNN has gotten to where it is more “fair and balanced” than FOX News. I still think the “fair-haired boy” of FOX, Bill O’Reilly, loves Obama and will probably vote for him.
John Gibson played a clip on his radio show last week with Anderson grilling a MoveOn.org guy the same way. How can this be? Someone must be on vacation at CNN for journalism to break out twice in one month...
The Obama campaign needs to start worrying abouth their candidates popularity when the media shills, as obnoxiously partisan as they are, start slipping off the bandwagon.
At this point its hard to believe they care more about their integrity than they do their ideology.
Anderson Cooper has occasional lapses of sanity.
The MSM have made recent pathetic , weaselly attempts to to backtrack from their perpetual adoration of Zero in a futile, transparent attempt to salvage some credibility.
Sorry,media-holes, you have destroyed your ‘profession’ and much of our Republic because of your ideological and personality cult devotion to this leftist grifter.
You are forever joined at the hip with him and are responsible for creating and enabling him and his regime.
It’s over for you.
Next.
It is singularly amusing to watch one liberal trying to apply logic and reason in his questions to another liberal.
In my mind, it is the age-old equivalent of one trying to fellate oneself....hahahahahahahahah!
I agree with Newt Ginrich. CNN has gotten to where it is more “fair and balanced” than FOX News. I still think the “fair-haired boy” of FOX, Bill O’Reilly, loves Obama and will probably vote for him.
BOR likes Bam cuz he came on his show.
He would slobber over Charles Manson...if he came on his show. :-)
First and foremost, Bill O'Reilly loves Bill O'Reilly. I'll bet he writes his own name in every time he votes.
I sense the boat is beginning a turn. Maybe not back to center where it never was but the heading seems to be changing away from the Obama camp these days....too many things finding themselves in the news from unexpected places...the Newark Mayor, some dem operatives, a book biography. A few more and this guy is toast because no one likes to see their dreams vanquished by a scam artist. Kind of like when the stockbroker calls with a cannot miss stock. The first time it happens and the stock tanks, one says I made a mistake I guess. The second time, no more calls accepted.
“Capt Obamahad, there are some torpedoes heading this way, what are your orders”....”ah, well, cough cough, well, you know, ah ah I think I have already answered ah cough cough well, you know, perhaps we can either steer to eh, ah left or ah is it well cough right.”
“Captain, is it port or starboard you want” Well, that is a complicated and ah ah, cough cough, you know ah not easily answered ah hex cough cough at this time because ah cough ah eh eh, well...the previous Captain did not eh how well you know leave me a plan”.
Glug Glug
O’Reilly is a businessman first and foremost and what he is selling is ratings which translate into dollars for him. His fence straddling and contradictions such as appearing strongly Conservative one day and a kool aid drinker the next is done to keep the maximum amount of viewers.
Mike
Even liberals, and in this case, a gay liberal, don’t like it when you mess with their money..........
The temporary integrity is just a decoy to get ratings. They will return to their old ways when the “one” gives the command.
Right, BOR adores BOR.
Last night Laura Ingraham was sitting in for him so I decided to watch the show. Low and behold we get BOR calling in. I was about the change the channel when he blirts out “all we get from this guy is a song and dance, he never answers a question”. My question for him do you or don’t your support the OWS, YES OR NO”. He says he will have a segment on Obamahab’s positions tonight. I may even watch as I think BOR has been reading the tea leaves, not the ones about Soetoro, the ones about his declining watchers.
Too much of America is buying what this guy is trying to pass off. That’s the problem.
Maybe Bill O’Reilly loves Obama because he bought one of his “The Factor” tchotchkes.
O’Reilly is constantly running interference for obama. Always propping him up with an excuse - “they all do it”. O’Reilly is not too bright if he doesn’t see through obama.
You know your’e toast when the MSM stops covering for you.
“I suspect the powers that be are getting ready to change figureheads.”
I’m seeing the same thing.
Good for Cooper. Hopefully, he’ll keep up his newly found balanced approach for the remainder of the election season. I think after watching Europe collapse, the real possibility of full out socialism in the U.S. is starting to scare some of them.
Lefties have migrated to MSNBC. Non-Lefties watch FOX, and Fox has more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined.
CNN needs to find their niche, and that niche may be to attempt to out-"fair and balance" Fox and go for the middle.
Ben LaBolt...... This dufus spokesman won’t be back on TV anytime soon. But I believe there is an opening to become Bammy Boy’s body man since Reggie Love quit
BS. I was Fox deprived for two days at a Motel 6 last week and had to watch CNN with the crawl "Authorities: Zimmerman could have avoided Martin attack" for an entire day.
John Boener should thank Anderson for being ‘fair’ for once and offer Mr Cooper his choice of Republican to interview. Our side can stand up to that type of questioning. It might start something. Otherwise the media can keep interviewing the likes of McGramnesty.
That is because of our ill-named ‘education system.’
People aren’t ‘educated’ anymore, they are indoctrinated.
They aren’t taught the basic principles of economics, capitalism, free enterprise or personal responsibility. They ‘expect’ the government to step in like a playground nanny and make everything ‘fair’ and no danger.
The people of yesteryear wanted only a chance, the people of today want guaranteed outcomes. Kids today graduating think that they will become Facebook Millionaires or get six figure salaries right out of the starting gate. The only reason we haven’t gone down the drain as a nation at this point is because there are still people who remember their basic civics and religious teachings.............
Same here. Obama has turned into a liability. Worse, they may see him as getting too uppity and not knowing his place.
I was about the change the channel when he blirts out all we get from this guy is a song and dance, he never answers a question. My question for him do you or dont your support the OWS, YES OR NO. He says he will have a segment on Obamahabs positions tonight.
Wow. I can’t believe Cooper. LeBolt sounds like Carney, completely unprepared for any question outside the script.
Anderson Cooper, James Carville and others aren’t trying to be “fair and balanced”. They’re screaming as loud as they can at the Obama campaign, hoping to wake them up to how bad they are doing before it’s too late.
What! BOR numbers are falling? Except for GRETA, FAUX is entirely shut out here.
ratings are plummeting....
Of course it was a news journalist tournament so the categories resembled, "What's Your Favorite Color" and "Numbers Between 1 And 10" so only Wolf Blitzer has had to be loaned money to continue in Final Jeopardy.
I couldn’t stand CNN and I still can’t stand CNN, but I now deplore Fox and I refuse to watch it.
Newt was spot on.
Thanks PJ-Comix.

I saw this last evening. It was a hoot.
Agreed. Cooper - though he apparently tried - did a poor job of adequately framing the administration's hypocrisy and failed to pin the guy to the mat.
