Obama is not that bright
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette ^ | Jack Kelly | May 20, 2012

Mr. Obama went to Harvard, but so did George W. Bush, who some liberals consider dumber than dirt. The president won't release his transcripts, so we can't judge by his grades. Mr. Obama was president of the Harvard Law Review, but when he was selected, popularity mattered more than scholarship.

Mr. Obama joined an undistinguished law firm, where he tried no cases.

He often rambles when he speaks without a teleprompter.

Mr. Obama has said a lot of unsmart things: there are 57 states; Canada has a president; "Austrian" is a language; America is "20 centuries" old; Arabic is spoken in Afghanistan. He's called the Falkland Islands (Malvinas) the Maldives, and declared it would be "unprecedented" for the Supreme Court to invalidate a law passed by Congress.

President Obama's stimulus bill didn't stimulate. His subsidies to "green" firms have produced neither the jobs nor the energy he promised. Unemployment on his watch peaked at 10 percent, one of the highest rates since the Great Depression. Deficits are out of control.

"The man who promised everything is delivering nothing," wrote Noemie Emery in the Weekly Standard. "Journalists who wept when he won the election now grind their teeth in despair. ... The gap between sizzle and steak never seemed so large."

Could it be that Mr. Obama's "superior intellect" is a myth created by journalists to mask what may be the thinnest resume of anyone ever elected president?

"I spent some time with the highest tenured faculty member at Chicago Law a few months back," Mr. Ross wrote in March 2010. "According to my professor friend, [Obama] had the lowest intellectual capacity in the building. ... The other professors hated him because he was lazy, unqualified,"

"I thought Bush went to Yale?"

Bush got his B.A. from Yale, his M.B.A. from Harvard.

W flew the F-102 Delta Dagger Interceptor, a badly-designed "flying coffin," 30% of which crashed, burned, or were otherwise destroyed. A little-noticed footnote about Bush "serving in the Air National Guard to get out of going to Vietnam" is that Texas Air Guard F-102's from Bush's unit were deployed and flying combat missions in Vietnam the day that he enlisted. Several months later, the F-102's were withdrawn from Vietnam, being regarded as less than suitable for the conflict. You will not find this information in the Washington Pist or the New York Crimes....or in Dan Blather's SeeBS account.

“My goodness. Freepers knew all this 4 years ago.”

He appears to be quite akward as to real-life (country) situations. You would think in Indonesia you would at least come across frogs and (SH_T), I have to be careful as I have been censored for profanity...

The author is not too bright either. Yale is the correct answer.

The instrument he plays is a cobblestone. He’s not brilliant and he’s certainly not uncommonly clever. What he is er was is a lucky, self-aggrandizing, narcissist with an ego driven by a disturbing sense of divine inspiration.

He’s never bothered to build any political capital and squandered whatever goodwill he had by being a complete dick.

He is, however, an uncommonly clever man who has been able to identify and ride a wave of white guilt and black racial animosity to a career in politics. The structure of left-wing academic fashion that made this possible is not one of America's finer intellectual products, but one must concede the cunning of a young man who was able to identify and exploit it all the way to the highest political office in the land. Do not underestimate this individual. The instrument he has learned to play is a loud and powerful one. It might yet serenade him to another four years of office.

Maybe, but maybe you give him too much credit in identifying the trend. Maybe he was just in the "right" place at the "right" time, and profited from those trends unknowingly. He probably actually thinks everybody loves him.

Careful about casting stones, they may come back at you...
I take it you’re a little lazy. If you had taken a minute to check, you’d have found that the author is bright enough.

“An example of puffery is the description of Mr. Obama as a former “professor of constitutional law.” Mr. Obama was a part time instructor at the University of Chicago law school, without the title or status of professor”

Maybe it’s just me, but Obama’s ascendency to the Presidency is looking more and more like the product of a fraternity prank.

And in other news, the Sun is mildly warm and water is mildly wet. And the dark side of the moon isn’t that dark...

A conservative publication (or network) needs to do a simplified diagram (so the sheeple can understand it) breaking down exactly where the "stimulus" money went, where it should have gone but didn't, and how no jobs were created (or saved), and that nothing really happened with it except a few people got very rich off of it.

Then it needs to be publicized, advertised and talked about on talk radio, screaming faces shows, and smart people (FReepers, and Tea Partiers, etc.) need to write letters to the opinion pages of as many "news" papers as they can to keep it in the public's mind. A constant barrage of such should really rankle the Dems and their propaganda arm (the "news" media). They'd have to cover it.

I once heard Carol Flatt LeBow (sp?), who sometimes subs for Hugh Hewitt, say that she was at Harvard at the same time, and Obama did zip while holding that position - words to that effect.
It was probably 2 years ago I heard that.

The only thing wrong with your idea is that Obama supporters don't give a damn where the stimulus went. They just like Obama.
