I just temporarily freaked out. I’m off work today and was listening to Brian Sussman and Melanie Morgan on Hot Talk 560AM-KSFO (Rush used to air on this station recently before a program change). I walked out of the room temporarily (I forgot to turn the channel to 910AM where Rush airs in the Bay Area) and when I came back, I heard the Huckster on (aka Gomer) and thought, WTH?
It then came to me, turn the channel dummy! I was then greeted by the great voice of the lovable little fuzzball!
Life is good and I’m now relieved...whew....
I think they are sure feeling better about themselves for a change.
Rush, I think I know why Romney does not want to go there as of yesterday, because first, he is leaving it to folks like Sean, Mark, and you to take care of, and also there will be a Mormon-based super pac that will most likely do the “dirty work”. Romney wants to stay clean and above board.

FUBO! Zimbabwe used to feed a lot of the African continent, then the land was confiscated from the “rascist white” farmers and redistributed to the “deserving black” peasants. Now, Africa starves.
Well, the further east you go from San Francisco, the more conservative it becomes. That’s where all the farming is in the central valley. I’m in San Jose myself and actually see alot of KSFO bumber stickers and I know quite few conservatives.
We’re not all lefties here in the Bay Area.

Obama has been out talking up agriculture in the US. There’s a lot to this issue that hasn’t received any coverage.
The Obama administration has been pushing very hard for a coal terminal to be built in WA state, pulling out all the stops and calling in a lot of favors to ship PRB coal to China.
The problem is that China has told SSA and their backers not to count on China to buy the coal in the long term. Actually the China trade rep told the developers and a group of grain growers that was assembled, that the Chinese market for the PRB coal was extremely time limited and dependent on a weak US dollar, 3.5 years at the outside. The trade rep also said that what CHINA WILL BUY, is as much grain and soy beans as the US can grow.
To go along with promise of exporting grain to China, the SSA officials promised to get federal restrictions on grain growing lifted to allow farmers to
once again grow grain on their land.
What the environmentalists are saying is that the plan is really to get the restrictions lifted so that Monsanto can buy the land and create huge commercial growing fields that can grow grain for China, genetically altered grain that will not reproduce.
Yeah, he does have a good show, for an ultra-liberal alcoholic chef/writer ;-) LOL

Well you have to remember, we are getting closer to the start of summer with the upcoming Memorial Day weekend in a week’s time, people are going to be doing outside stuff, so things are going to slow down.

If Rush wants to promote a product, that is his right. This is the weekly open mic Friday edition and with the nicer weather being here, folks are going to be outside more.
I believe you may have hit the nail on the head! Some extremely GOOD and knowledgable FReepers have either been “zotted” or chose to leave after the site started to become just a bit too “politically correct”.
