Levin is livid over the fact that Romney repudiated anything to do with bringing up Rev. Wright in this campaign even though in the primaries he went full throttle against Newt Gingrich, even with false attack ads:

Romney true to his Mormon faith does not view the USA before the emergence of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young as anything more than a piece of land available/ready for creating wealth. In Romney’s today world this must be centered on the political boon of jobs. His ancestors gave up the USA so as to keep the spirit of attainment unencumbered by the USA in It’s struggle for a government of the people under one God who is partitioned from Mormon’s by their founder Smith. I do think that Mormons have been so very much better for the USA than other groups, such as Muslims, as positive societal contributors. As for a personal decision for POTUSA I could accept with some exceptions, such as a Muslim, a person with a different religious faith. The choice Romney might name for VP will decide my vote.

I did not know that. But that makes Reid’s Mormonism more considered than Romney’s. Reid had the chance to evaluate the religion as an adult. Any attacks from president Stoner’s team would impugn Reid’s intelligence. Romney should plan now to refute attacks on Mormonism by coming to the assistance of Reid’s intellect and asking Senator Reid if he agrees with TeamKenya that his Mormon religion weird and disagreeable. In effect, Romney would bring Reid to his side against the stoner.
You think they don’t have carte blanche now? They are just waiting to pull out the history of Mormonism and the black race card. I don’t think there is anything Romney can do to keep that from happening except drop out of the race.
And, that's the most confusing part about "Bishop" Romney.
I worked for a Mormon Bishop at a part time job when I was 18 and he and his Mormon foreman were two of the most righteous people I've ever met.
No way either would have ever supported anything remotely pro-choice.
And then there's Bishop Romney...and his record.
IF we are to get back in God's good graces, we MUST stop human sacrifice in America. Otherwise, how can you say we are a Christian nation?

I got a phone call yesterday from some uber conservative group I’ve never heard of before. They said they were this uber conservative group and wanted to know if I supported Mitt Romney.
I told them no. They were silent for a while and then asked again saying they were this uber conservative group.
I told them, Romney’s not a conservative so no, I don’t support him. The line went totally dead and they hung up. No way they’ll ever get a penny out of me. I don’t care what super conservative name they give themselves.
His wife keeps sending me emails though asking if I want to dine with Mitt. If I could figure out a way to make it cost him, I would go just to tell him off.
The fact that he is on this site is irrelevant.

Mitt Romney is a liberal Republican and will remain so for the rest of his life.
To think that anyone will be able to change him/kick him to the right..is delusional.
He is not nor ever will be a CONSERVATIVE! That means that his belief system does not follow constitutional guidelines.
I agree with Vmivo 100. You guys can drag him wherever you want. But don’t include me in your plan or be surprised/disheartened when the Massachusetts Bishop and the GOP-E cackle gleefully as they continue to throw Conservatives under the bus.

this goes totally against connventional wisdom... but I have a hunch..if Romney is getting attacked for his Mormonism, it means he is winning the election....
I am pro life and anti-abortion.
Here’s what Obama DID; not what he said but what he actually did.
He voted that doctors should be allowed to go ahead and kill a baby that was born live after a failed abortion if it was the intent of the mother to abort.
I am not voting for a man like that and there are a few ways to vote for him.
You can just go ahead and vote for Obama.
You can write in a candidate (who doesn’t have a chance)
You can refuse to vote on the top of the ticket.
You can dream up some third party to vote for.
Personally, I’m going to vote for the person who has an actual chance to defeat this baby killer.

Did Romney attack his primary opponents, mainly Newt & Rick on religious issues? If Romney attacks Obama for his association with Rev Wright’s church, Obama will attack Romney on the Mormon issue. I think Romney would be better advised to attack Obama on economic issues on which Obama is most vulnerable.
I hear what you are saying and still hold out that if we can Conserv-up the House and Senate, he will have no choice but go to the right. I am working diligently with our county REC to elect solid conservatives in every level of open seats that I am personally involved with. This IS the only hope at the moment of stifling this left=wing agenda. My principals have not changed, how I get the results that this country needs have changed due to what others in this country have decided to elect and put into power. Romney turns my stomach, make no mistake and the thought that we are doing this again when we had open opportunities angers me. However, this is the hand we have been dealt. I am not going to waste energy on whining about the true candidate. I will go to work and stand with groups of people that we can put in there to make the pivot to the right. I am not delusional MM. I understand this is a gamble. We have very little choices and this is what in my heart I must do. If he loses and BO is still in power we lose anyway. I still am praying for Divine Intervention as well. We might stand a chance with God. That is if we haven’t totally ticked him off! Have a nice day MM.

1. You are supposed to be a conservative but are voting for an acknowledged liberal and announce your support for the liberal and advocate for him because he is ABO.
2. The acknowledged liberal starts to act like a liberal and you say WTF he's acting like a liberal - we need to "hold his feet to the fire".
Exactly how do you expect to hold anyone's feet to the fire when you have already announced that you will vote for him no matter how much he spits in your face.
You and the other ABO's (including your whining radio host) have already thrown in the towel with Romney. You have already forfeited the game. Romney knows he can do almost anything he wants and you are still going to bow down, and support him.
Once you've tossed by the wayside any clout you have, talk of trying to make your boy, Romney, accountable is just silly blather. Expect to be disappointed a lot in the next six months (and if your creep is elected the following 4 years). But you made your choice, now deal with it and stop crying in your beer.
By the way, if you want to insult me, stick to English. It's not any less of a cheap shot just because it's in Japanese.
