Two police reports written the night that George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin said that Zimmerman had a bloody face and nose, according to police reports made public today.
The reports also note that two witness accounts appear to back up Zimmerman's version of what happened when they describe a man on his back with another person wearing a hoodie straddling him and throwing punches.
In addition, Trayvon Martin's father told an investigator after listening to 911 tapes that captured a man's voice frantically callling for help that it was not his son calling for help.
The new information is part of a trove of documents released by the Florida State Attorney today in the case against Zimmerman, who is charged with second degree murder for the Feb. 26 killing of Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old African American male.

There is nothing inherently wrong with a neighborhood watch guy or anyone else following a person on a public street, possibly even “chasing” after them to keep up. That would not justify the followee beating the daylights out of his follower. Indeed, a follower who was in contact with police and providing the police information.
Seems awfully unlikely Zimmerman “attacked” Martin. Zimmerman sustained multiple injuries before firing.
I’m active in my neighborhood though not a neighborhood watch. I’ve called the police to report suspicious people. The police are always supportive. If I called the police and the guy started beating the tar out of me, I’d damn well think I had been suspicious for a good reason.

To most of the population, the injuries AND the THC in Travon’s blood are “big pieces of evidence.” While you may want to only address those pieces of evidence that back up your obvious defense of Travon, most of us are more interested in getting the ENTIRE story - justice requires that you get the whole story and not “cherry pick” to get the outcome you want.

I didn’t hear Trayvon had drugs in his system. If true, depending on the levels, certainly drug use could impair his judgment.
The media is blind to Trayvon’s motivation. He was on suspension from school, and probably pissed that someone was calling the police on him to get him in more trouble. Plus he was visibly taller and younger and would think (accurately) that he could beat Zimmerman up. Did he know Zimmerman was talking to police? Certainly Zimmerman was on the phone through most of this, I’d assume he was calling police.
To any impartial observer the drugs, Trayvon’s status at school, would be very relevant to understanding what happened.
Same reason Nifong concocted charges. POLITICS.
Don’t matter now, Zimmerman is gone. If he beats the State’s kangeroo court, Holder’s goons will grab him. Zimmerman has now become a political cause. Self hating White Liberals, America’s favorite reverends, and media, and those that are opposed to allowing citizens to defend themselves from attacks by criminals will not allow it to die.

Regarding the injuries, the fact that Zimmerman and Martin fought is not disputed. Nor is the fact that Martin was winning the fight, and that Zimmerman sustained injuries. When I say that the evidence of injuries is not the biggest piece of evidence released, it is only because the injuries are not in dispute. What is in dispute is who started the fight, so, in my opinion, evidence that may shed light on who started the fight is more important than evidence of injuries sustained during the fight (if Zimmerman started the fight, it will be much more difficult for him to successfully establish a self-defense claim, regardless of his injuries).

Corey has zero evidence for this, and Zimmerman has a history of successfully mentoring a black youth and working with and alongside blacks. He has no admissible history of violence, aggressiveness or provocation.
Corey cannot testify or give evidence, and her speculation will be clearly identified as such with no evidentiary backing. Zimmerman's testimony (if he chooses) is evidence and is backed by substantial other independent evidence.
If Zimmerman is properly prepared for testimony, Corey is looking to be Nifong's roommate.
its horrible that this young man was killed, but he seemed to instigate it with his suspicious behavior and his actions....
the parents should face the facts that their son was not an innocent bystander...and the public should know that Martin used pot, was out of school because he was suspended, was well over 6 feet tall and towered over Z and that Martin had issues in other things as well....

Angela Whorey should be charged with obstruction of justice. IMMEDIATELY. She cannot say she didn’t have all the evidence, so what gives? Her Affidavit withheld evidence so she should be charged. Alan Dershowitz has been strangely silent since his initial commentary. Did the black community get to him too, just as they did Whorey?

Unless the have balastic evidence that is drastically different from Zimmermans story (like Martin was shot in the back) then this case is over, and Zimmerman walks.

Corey’s lead investigator, Det. Dale Gilbreath, stated under oath at GZ’s bond hearing that there was no evidence regarding who started the fight. This was after the statement given by the woman who supposedly saw a chase and then a fight.
The autopsy also shows that Zimmerman shot Martin from a distance of between 1 inch and 18 inches away, bolstering Zimmerman's claim that he shot Martin during a close struggle.

If this goes to trial, Zimmerman’s attorney will “take the gloves off” and all sorts of unpleasant evidence will be brought to light. Evidence that will further show that Martin was a violent thug who embraced the Fight Club culture.
Trayvon’s parents should get out while the getting is good.

There were no..NO...bruises to the knuckles. The autopsy report said the only injury to the hands was one small cut on the fourth finger of the left hand. Did you just make that up? And why would you?

You seriously need to “get out more”. Open your eyes, and your googling fingers, and you’ll see an absolutely overwhelming amount of evidence (evidence, not speculations or someone wishing something was the case) that supports Zimmerman’s account of a self-defense shooting.
The problem for Corey is that there does not seem to be any evidence to support the theory that Zimmerman was "chasing" Martin. Even in the link you gave, the witness states he/she could not see who was chasing whom. (That is the only witness to say there was a chase, also, and the statement came several days after the incident - raises questions of credibility and accuracy.) And there are at least 2 witnesses who state that they saw Martin on top of Zimmerman, beating him. So the only question the defense would have to ask is, if Zimmerman was chasing Martin, how did Martin wind up on top of Zimmerman? That is enough to raise reasonable doubt all by itself.
He'll still need 24 hour guard for his family and his parents. He's missed out on how much work now? How large is his lawyer's bill? His reputation will always be tainted and his kids will be bullied in school. All thanks to Jessie and Al.
Too bad the suck-up press doesn’t have the balls to ask Al Sharpton what he thinks of all the stuff supporting Zimmerman... Come to think of it, we might never know. For reasons unknown (/s) the press seems to have lost interest in this story.

Yep. You are so right. All of those in control of such things have long ago decided that a younger more hispanic version of Archie Bunker profiled and killed a modern day version of Theo Huxtable. Never mind that young Theo/Trayvon was stoned out of his gourd and had a history of violence against authority figures.
The media is no longer referring to Zimmerman as white or “white hispanic”, thus signaling that even they no longer think he’s guilty.

Interesting. Thanks for the link. We now KNOW that Martin was 5’11” tall and weighed 158 in the morgue. I’d assume his walking weight would be slightly higher, so 160+. Unless he shrank, he wasn’t 6’3” - and I don’t know if a height measured in the morgue is accurate or not.

I don't want to jinx things. But between this case falling apart and Scott Walker and Scott Brown doing well against their socialist opponents, my favorite cult 'the progressives' (ref MSNBC) are looking to take another well deserved beating.
Scott Walker beats these socialists in WI and we will have one hell of a conservative POTUS candidate material, the quality of which was not close to seen in this R primary.
