The text editor of the 1991 literary agency booklet that described Barack Obama as “born in Kenya” said Thursday the line in question was “nothing more than a fact checking error.”
Miriam Goderich issued a statement to the Political Wire saying the future president never suggested “in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii”:
“You’re undoubtedly aware of the brouhaha stirred up by Breitbart about the erroneous statement in a client list Acton & Dystel published in 1991 (for circulation within the publishing industry only) that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me — an agency assistant at the time. There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more.”

Fact checking error? Yeah, right. I might have been born at night, but it wasn’t last night. And if Obama didn’t give them the information, where did they get it from? Pull it out of a hat? And if it was a fact checking error, why didn’t Obama point it out to them so it could be corrected? What a bunch of hooey.
Gee how does one come to the conclusion, in 1991, that a relatively unknown politician was born in Kenya?

If it was just a “Simple mistake” on their part, they would have maybe said, he was born in Texas, or Florida, or some other place, but NO, they said he was born in KENYA, the exact place where Obama’s OWN aunt said he was born, so this woman is lying to protect Obama, what else is knew, the media and everyone else has been protecting this Commie freak since Day 1

The article on Drudge says that the bio was used by Obama until 2007. If it was an error, wouldn’t he have corrected before 2007?
