Yes, I was aware of that New York Times claimed in their 1990 story on Obama that he was born in Honolulu. But several African newspapers have stated that he is African born. So today's Breitbart revelation is surely not the first piece of printed evidence supporting the proposition that Obama was born in Kenya.
Noteworthy by its omission from the background info in posted article is the recent Sheriff Arpaio investigation and results indicating that the scanned image of the purported Hawaii Birth certificate, trumped by the White House when released in April 2011 as the final answer to the "Birthers," was constructed fraudulently.

If he were born in Hawaii, then why the heck can't he produce a bona fide Hawaii BC? Barring that, it would seem as if he has no claim to Constitutional eligibility for the President of the United States.
We're talking about much more than veracity here. Bill Clinton, for example, was a compulsive liar, yet he certainly was constitutionally eligible for the presidency.

A BBC News article also reported Obama was born in Kenya, but BBC edited it within a short time in 2008 before a page capture was thought of. It was one of the first found, if not the very first, of the news articles stating Obama was Kenyan born. FR had a thread on it and I found it once and never again after a long search, and I should have made a picture of it when I found it the second time.

The GLOBE has published at least ten articles on the BC. Our local pharmacy and grocery tells me they order extra when the subject is on the cover.
Had a lady who I first met as a big wig in the local D party and she filled me with her knowledge of the BC.Even she says he a fraud. She runs a local business with lots of customers who like to gossip, so I did my patriot duty and left her with even more info to spread around.

There was also that statement in the Kenyan Parliament meeting that he was born in Kenya. That statement was never updated/contradicted/changed/oopsied.
In addition, the Kenyan ambassador to the United States, speaking in an interview on a Detroit FM radio station the day following the 2008 election, not only stated that Obama was born in Kenya but also said that his place of birth would be turned into a national historic site.

Obviously, “Birthers” time traveled back to 1991 and planted this promotional booklet because they somehow knew Obama would some day be President.
Of course Romney won’t raise the issue. George Romney never signed his citizenship papers (required at age of majority for those born abroad to American parents), so he was an American resident, not an American citizen.
Not only that, Mitt can just sign a declaration and become a Mexican citizen having been born to a Mexican father.
