Well, for clarity that’s 75% of every Euro earned past a million Euros. The truth is that the average worker, meaning anyone from a hot-dog vendor to middle management probably wouldn’t notice the small differences in taxes in most industrialized nations.

And just like here, the rich have a billion loopholes, shelters and write-offs so as to not actually pay that 75% rate. Lottery winners are the only real losers, if you can actually call it that.

Not really. Most European lotteries are tax-free unlessyou are American.

Not really. Most European lotteries are tax-free unless you are American.
