As the citizens in 31 states have declared. Gay marriage is just wrong no matter how the bullies try to demonize the vast majority that are against it. The gay community wants to be accepted as “normal” so badly . It’s never going to happen no matter how hard they try.
With respect, I believe you to be wrong. The homosexual community is already accepted as the "norm". It permeates every aspect of our media/culture and has for decades. They finally got what they wanted. Not just tolerance (which I was okay with), but acceptance as a normal way of life (which I'm not).
There is no going back. The same as the "gimmes" will never give up their "bambi stash", as they think of it. The USA and other nations (think Greece, Spain, et al) are on the cusp of losing the greatest societal experiment this rock ever saw.
I will say once again as I have on so many threads. Since the Colonial (British subjects) revolution against the tyrant King George, and our individual States coming together to form a more "perfect union", the socialists are winning to take down such wonderful example of liberty and free enterprise. Those bleeding hearts have NO idea what it takes to maintain either a free country and even less to maintain an economic principle that creates opportunity.
The American experiment of a new found republic back when provided the template for countless countries becoming free nations. We were the originals; we fought against a larger power for liberty; we set the example for the world. There would not be as many self-determined nations if not for us. Now they shit on us.
We've also given our blood and treasure to defend such liberties, only for so many nations to forget our example.
I am sad that the world has forgotten what the USA did for all. I'm ready to pull up the drawbridge and tell them to fend for themselves. If the bad guys build alliances against us and threaten our way of life, I say NUKE them ASAP! I don't give one crap about collateral damage - think Dresdan and Hiroshima. Better their people die than our women and children.
I'm done with ungrateful and crappy totalitarian leadership, as I am with punks in hoodies who mug, and rob, and invade homes, and murder and rape and assault. Kill them dead so us peace loving people can live in a free nation.
It's more than that. The goal is to bring more into their flock and expand their ranks. The way to do that is to institutionalize their lifestyle. When it's codified into law and sanctioned by the government, it has to be taught to young people in school. And there will be nothing any parent/teacher group can do to stop it then. The kids will be taught that they can marry Bobby or Susie when they grow up and that there is no difference either way. And sex ed will be used to introduce kids to the sex practices used by gays. We've seen some of this indoctrination on a small scale in liberal areas. But legal same-sex marriage will make it mandatory everywhere. If it's left out of the curriculum, the schools will be subject to a lawsuit for not upholding the law of the land and they will have to comply.

It’s interesting that gay culture for years was proudly counterculture and still is in most ways, but the movement for oxymoronic gay marriage is a desire for something absolutely traditional. It is illogical as is much of the left.
If scripture and tradition are disqualified as a standard, why only TWO people and why only people?
Of the remaining 19 states does anyone know how many legally allow gay marriage?
