Drudge Drops Link After Gawker Questions His Sexuality

Aggregator extraordinaire Matt Drudge briefly linked to Gawker’s story that alleged ABC’s Robin Roberts “wasn’t enthusiastic” about landing her big gay marriage interview with President Obama because she was worried it would call attention to the “near-open secret that Roberts is a lesbian” this afternoon and the site took the opportunity to taunt him with an update.

“Internet behemoth Matt Drudge, who has just directed his readers to this post, is also commonly understood to be gay,” the update said.

Mr. Drudge removed his link to Gawker within a matter of minutes.

And funny that Drudge has such a thin skin after his never-ending cowardly attacks on Gingrich and Santorum on behalf of Team Mittens.

I had a suspicion that Drudge’s reasoning for being so massively in the tank for Romney was due to Romney’s history of being the most “pro-gay” candidate.

I’d been a regular visitor to Drudge’s for over twelve years, checking it multiple times per day, ever since I first go hooked onto the internet. But after his outlandish dumping on anyone opposing Romney during the primary season, I stopped going there altogether. Haven’t been back since.

Gawker pays their writers based on the number of clicks the writer gets on his story. So it was a political decision.

But Drudge made a political decision when he turned over control of his website to Matt Rhoades and other Romney operatives.

Drudge has lost almost 750,000 monthly readers to date since his Bloody Thursday hit on Newt, so his anti-Newt and anti-Rick actions in support of Romney have had substantial consequences to his website's traffic.

Speaking of gay, does anyone else realize that the word “gay” has been completely hijacked by homosexuals?

Look up the word “gay” in an older dictionary, and you will see that the definition has nothing to do with homosexuality.

Have you heard anyone use the word gay using the dictionary definition? Nowadays the word gay means only homosexual, and is never used according to the dictionary definition.

Why did they pick the word gay anyway? To make us believe that homosexuality is a happy carefree lifestyle??????

The pendulum will swing back the other way. The sooner the better. It isn’t “gay”, and even “homosexual” is a word coined by one of them in the latter half of the 19th century to create a sense of special community. Before that word was invented they were called sodomites and pederasts, which are much better words.

They are mentally ill sex perverts and they should STFU and go back in the closet and if they want to seek help, so much the better. Their perversion and mental illness are revolting and destructive and at this point even Caligula would be shocked.
