That self-immolation thing the monks due might get some attention. Requires dedication to the cause though.
Monks aren’t even that dedicated anymore. Now when they want to protest they just give money to Al Gore.
Yesn the fees have been going up and some administrators are grossly overpaid. But nobody out here is losing any sleep if a few students choose to eat or not. They have the liberty and means to eat if they wish. And they have 30 taxpayer-subsidized universities and 120 community colleges (those with the lowest fees in America). And lots of financial aid, fee waivers, work and loan opportunity. They will be much better off to focus on all their opportunities and study now. There are millions of hard-working taxpayers who will applaud them if they go do their homework and Ace their exams. “College is a time to finally grow up and learn how to prioritize things in your life”

Pu$$ie$.
Sip Gatorade to avoid brain damage. Conserve energy. Aim for the forced feeding tube. Until you are prepared to do this, don’t waste my time with your lame a$$ ‘let’s skip a couple of meals and hold a press conference and say we are on a hunger strike’ bullcrap.

“the students decided to end the strike due to health concerns”

Strap the ‘hunger strikers’ to chairs and then park their butts in front of a 24/7, first class buffet so they can see and smell the prime rib and all the other goodies.
I once fasted for a week just to see what would happen. Not too bad. Cleans the system out pretty well. I don't know if I would call it a strike, though.
