Both Phillipines and China claim sovereignty of the Scarborough shoals, an area rich in oil and natural gas. China is trying to muscle their way to gain control. Obama uses the conflict to attempt to push the Law of the Seas(LOST) treaty in the Senate, thus betraying ally Phillipines and handing the communist Chinese a victory for their naked aggression. Just another day in obamaland. Almost like he is working together with the Chinese.

Really? Even assuming that obama would want to help the Philippines against Chinese aggression, the Filipinos were so hot and fired up to get rid of us...let them put their big girl panties on and deal with China by themselves for a while.

The comments section is fairly rife with ChiComs posing as English or Americans. You can tell just by reading their comments they are neither. The same can be found on almost all other online media sites that have comments sections.

The ChiCom propoganda arm is hard at work on this one, so you have to think that this conflict is fairly important to them.

I’m guessing there won’t be any place to land those troops.

If we wanted a naval base in the Phillipines, all the more reason not to lose the country to China. That’s our big boy pants.
